Go with them

Haji blinked a couple of times before he flashed a wide and sweet smile towards them. " I don't see why not! " He giggled softly and turned to the toy the two had gotten for him, ripping the plastic off. As the kid played with the toy, Pisces turned towards Josaki with a wide toothy grin. Josaki blankly stared at him for a moment then rolled his eyes with a breathy chuckle, patting his back heavily. No one understood these two as well as they understood each other. It's as if they were long lost twins. Either that or they relate towards one another a bit too much.

They finished their meals and the two adults shared bills in payment, and Haji stuck pretty close to them, especially Pisces. He kept playing with the tiny device in his hands and often brushed shoulders with Pisces. Josaki stared at them with a tiny pout, narrowing his eyes, then he caught Pisces's gaze on him, immediately answering Pisces's unasked question, " You're planning on spoiling him, aren't you? " Josaki narrowed his eyes even more as Pisces' boisterous laughter echoed through his ear for a moment, then the bluenette shrugged, sending a smug smirk towards Josaki, " Don't tell me you're jealous~ " " I will hit you. "

Pisces chuckled at his friend's deadpan look, nudging him lightly on his sides to which the blond groaned and pushed him away gently, exchanging glares on the spot. " We still have time to get to our job, " Josaki began with a silent sigh, shoving his hands inside his pockets as they halted in front of a red light, glancing at the passing vehicles now and then. " Do you guys, wanna do some stuff and kill some time? " " Sure. " Pisces shrugged, eyeing Haji who still fiddled with the toy and stood beside him. A fond smile came upon his lips and he turned to Josaki, " Arcade? " He chuckled, " Why not? "

They walked across the street on the pedestrian lane once the light turned green, and they headed to an arcade not so far away from the workplace. The building was rather small, it wasn't too crowded, but Josaki and Pisces exactly liked the way it is, and Haji seemed to have his interests piqued in this place. They bought tokens for all of them - well, surprise, surprise, Josaki actually had the fucking money all along, Pisces kicked his ass for lying earlier. But as the usual, they're gonna duke it out... through arcade games.

" One who gets the most tickets wins. " Pisces flipped the bird at Josaki with a smirk on his face, the latter returning the gesture. " You're on, bitch! " Without warning, they ran off to start their little competition, leaving Haji alone on accident. Welp, that was a mistake, but the kid still knew they're there, and besides, he's never been to an arcade before, he might as well enjoy his time here. He kept the tokens in his palms as he wandered around like a lost puppy, sparing a glance towards the arcade's various machinery. Until a claw machine caught his eyes, a childish glint appearing in them.

Time passed quickly for them all, not noticing the fact they had spent an hour here until they all ran out of tokens. Josaki and Pisces sat on the floor and leant against the glass pane as they let the men behind the counter count their collected tickets with the machines. They were exhausted, slightly sweaty and lightly panting, they had ran here and there despite the lack of wideness inside the building, but still, here they were, a mess. Soon, Haji walked up to them with a bunch of plush toys in his arms, and they were mostly either Naruto-themed or ninja weapon-themed. And he had an armful, Pisces cracked a smile at seeing the kid.

Josaki stared in shock as Pisces just stared, lowkey proud of him. Just- how lucky was he with the claw machine? That shit was rigged, for fuck's sake, neither of them messed with the dreaded claw machines. Sometimes. They almost went agape at the sight yet they quickly held their jaws shut. " Do they give out bags here? " Haji questioned with a tiny tilt of his head. His voice had snapped them out of their trance. Both of them shrugged as Pisces pushed himself off the floor, helping Josaki up as he turned to the owners, " Do you have bags? " " Of course. Oh, you win, by the way, " One of them started before going off to get bags.
