Lincoln's POV
Between me and Sucre we've been able to take it turns driving to carry on during the night while the other rests. With any luck we could be in Utah in the next two days as long as we don't get caught up in any trouble and only stopping when we need to.
When we finally got to Utah, we had to find the double K ranch. Anytime we asked someone they said there had never been a double K ranch, which took away some of my hope away. That was until Sucre suggested we go to the county public records to find it, so that's where we went.
Shortly after we got there we managed to get into the building around the cops and made it upstairs. Quickly finding the book we needed, Sucre was flipping through the pages to find the double K ranch. "We've got a problem Linc. The page has been torn out" Sucre said. "Crap. How the hell are we supposed to find Michael and the money now" I said moving to look outside. Sucre moved to the window as well, "Michael was right. They were headed to Utah" he spoke while pointing out a familiar figure. With that I ran outside towards that person with Sucre close behind.
T-Bag's POV
I'd been driving the last two days, I didn't trust Michael to drive and try to find away to detour or find away to escape. We didn't talk much throughout the drive, which wasn't a surprise really. Before driving into town, I pulled the car over and got out. Making my way round to the passenger side I pulled the door open, "Time to get out Scofield."
Michael got out of the car looking around saying "Just planning to leave me here by any chance?" Moving away from the car I shut the door, pushing him towards the back. "You would just love that wouldn't ya pretty? It would make it so much easier to get away to you brother, but no that ain't happening" I explaining while opening the trunk. "Now, get in. I ain't driving into town with you in the passenger seat and potentially seeing your dear brother."
Michael still hadn't made a move to get into the trunk, so I shoved him in. Grabbing the rope I secured his legs together, while he kept trying to get out of the trunk so I punched him in the guts a few times. When he stayed still enough I made sure to wrap the duck tape around his head and mouth securely. With that I then left him there shutting the trunk and going back to the drivers seat, heading into town.
Once I made it into town I parked the car, then made my way over to the county public records. There was no issue getting past the cops, or finding the book I needed. Finding the page I decided to rip it out incase Burrows decided he would come looking, and made my way back out the building and back towards the car.
It wasn't too long before I felt someone shove me against a car saying "Where the hell is my brother you ass hole!" Oh I know who that was straight away so I replied "Hurt me and you'll never find him. I'm sure he is far more important to you alive then getting the money. So I propose that you help me get the money and you might just get your brother back? How does that sound?"
Sucre pulled Linc off of me before saying to him "Look bro, this is about the only option we've got right now to get him back. After that we can then figure out what to do next. OK?" Linc was staring at me until he finally looked at Sucre giving him a reluctant nod. "We are only going to help you find the money so you'll give us Michael back, after that we go our separate ways" Sucre said to me. "Alrighty then, let's get going" I said grinning at both of them.
From there we went to their car, there was no way I was using my car with Michael in the trunk, otherwise they wouldn't help me. After all it would have meant they had what they wanted but I would have what I wanted.
