Falling

(Lucifer POV)

Ever since Chloe saw my Devil fave she hasn't contacted me or even talked to me. I decided she wanted space but I didn't think she'd be this long. I knew it take her some time but not 5 months. It hurt me to stay away but I didn't wanna end up pushing her into something she might not wanna be apart of. I haven't been good though either. I don't talk to anyone I just stay up in my penthouse and drink. I eat here and there but otherwise I just don't have the energy or like motivation to. I was beginning to feel like I shouldn't be here I should just go to Hell again. Linda has been calling me and leaving messages wondering if I'm okay or why I haven't showed to our sessions. I replied saying I won't be coming back for any sessions right now. After awhile I'm getting tired but refuse to sleep. I stay up most the night until I end up falling asleep somewhere between 1-2 A.M. I wake up to Linda sitting on my bed next to me. "Linda what are you doing here"? "I was was worried about you. You've never have missed a session with me this long". "Well I've been busy".  "Doing what Lucifer". "You know that's none of your business". I start to walk away. "Lucifer I only care about you and I can tell that your not doing okay". "Since when did you care that much about my well being". I kept walking away. I could hear her get up and walk in my direction. I grab a bottle of vodka. Chugging most of the contents. I feel a hand on my shoulder and immediately flinch and whack it away. "Lucifer". "Don't touch me. Please". I take some steps away from her. "Okay Lucifer but I truly am worried. Is this about the Detective". How did she know. Heck she always figures it out. "Maybe it is maybe it isn't doesn't matter". "Yes it does Lucifer". "Not to me".  She lets out a breathe she was holding. "Lucifer I just wanna help". I thought about things and maybe I should take her help. But maybe I shouldn't. I don't know what I want anymore. But before I can say anything I hear a voice that I never thought I'd hear again. "Hello brother". "Hello Micheal". "You miss me". "What do you think". Linda just looks at him and looks at me. "How is this possible". "Linda meet my twin brother. Micheal". Micheal just smiles. Linda just stayed there for a bit taking this new information in. "I think I'll leave you two to discuss whatever you need to talk about".  I see Linda go to the elevator hit a button and the doors slowly close. "Who was that Luci". "No one you need to be concerned with. Why you here". "To destroy your life of course what I've been wanting to do for an eternity". "You know that I will stop you from doing that". "How Luci your literally weak as you can be at this point". "How do you know I still can't beat you". "Cause I know who makes you weak,vulnerable brother. That detective of yours". I rushed at him and pinned him to the wall. "You will not lay a hand on her". "And what you gonna do". He pushed me back and disappears. "Micheal"! I instantly fly to Chloe's house I find the front door broken. But when I walk inside my heart stops. He has Trixie in his arms. Knife to her neck.I also see Chloe on her couch tears running down her face. When I walk in her eyes go to me. "Brother let the spawn go". "Make me brother. You got weak cause you love this little creature and that detective". "Your wrong Micheal they make me wanna live. They make me wanna fight to keep them safe. They make me stronger". Micheal laughs. "If you truly believe that your delusional". "No you are if you think that i'm gonna allow you to hurt them". I burst forward and punched him in the face making him let go of the knife and then Trixie gets out of his arms. She runs to her mom and Chloe picks her up. She looks at me like she wants to thank me. But I don't want her to. "Go". She hesitates. "GO!" She runs out the door and I can hear her car start and the sound of it getting quieter. Micheal tackles me to the ground and starts punching me. I get him off me and I fly away hoping to get as far as possible from him. I make it somewhat far before were having a full on fight up in the sky. But the one thing I didn't expect him to be so strong. He hit me so hard I almost fell out of the sky. Before I could react he pulled out some kind of knife and ended up slashing me at my face. I could see some of my hair end up being cut off and some blood ran down the side of my face. "Haha Luci your gonna be sent back to hell by your own brother how sad". I swung at him and he dodged every attack I threw at him. There was no way I could defeat him. I tried so hard to lay a punch but he was just to quick. Before I knew it he stabbed me in the abdomen with the knife. "Goodbye brother". He thought he had won and started laughing. He didn't expect me to be able to kill him anymore but he was dead wrong. I ripped the knife out and stabbed Micheal in the neck with it. His eyes went wide. I could hear a gurgling noise before he started falling. I looked down and thought we were over land still but realized we were over water so I realized there would be no way anyone could find me before I'd drown. I smiled before I started falling. At least Chloe's safe that's all that matters. Heck she avoided me for 5 months she won't care that i'm gone. I smile and close my eyes knowing that everything will be fine. I'll be back where I belong. I feel the water hit my back and I lose consciousness.
