(sorry if you get notified about the story updating (28/08/20) just fixed some things while reading where I left off)
A few days have passed since you spoke to the helltaker and met his group o' demons. Since then Cerberus has been bringing a pancake over for you to have as an apology from the Helltaker. You have stopped questioning how she gets in to your house without the key though. It is still a mystery you want to figure out though.
In fact she wakes you up early, that is probably the biggest issue and that no one would believe it if you told them. No one would believe you that a triple demon wakes you up early everyday with some pancakes. Who could blame them, would you believe someone telling you that they have a demon who wakes them up with pancakes everyday?
Early Morning <7:30>
You wake up earlier than Cerberus can enter today. You can hear the Helltaker next door making up a fresh batch of pancakes. Looking at the time you can see thirty minutes until she arrives.
Getting out of bed you freshen up ready to see how the triple demon makes her way inside to deliver the apology pancakes.
Time passes and you hear your front door squeak open (should probably get that oiled) after hearing a key click in the lock. You can smell the aroma of the fresh pancakes from your living room.
"Mr.Y/n? I brought the pancakes for you to eat!" The first 2 hounds shout in an attempt to wake you up presuming you were still asleep as usual. After you hear the 6 sets of feet stomp up the stairs you sneak up behind the back of the trio.
"Wake up you lazy bones we got the apology pancakes" the last od of the three spoke.
Unknown to the trio as they open your door to give you an embarrassing wake up call as usual they open the door to your room as the back of the trio, and then the other two, felt a hand rest atop their heads. (By patting one they all felt it).
"Surprise, You expected me to be sleeping, but it was I awake y/n!" you proclaimed making them jump...
And drop the plate...
With the pancake....
To the floor.....
Frick......
<A/N - First off, I am so sorry that I ditched my story. Wasn't the intention surprised it still gets reads honestly. Almost 10k at the time of typing this up. Really a surprise a huge thank you for the lot of ya supporting me.
Secondly I am planning on making a story related to the Curse of Strahd campaign I will be playing in this coming Sunday so be prepared for that if you wanna read it (not an x reader book but a d&d story so it may interest you)
Third point to make, happy birthday to me when the 17th of August comes around, woot.
And last but not least thank you all for the support and encouragement and to those who have commented on my story to get me back into this, really needed it and to stop procrastinating. Hopefully you support me by reading future chapters of this and the Curse of Strahd story I plan to make (please note that the curse of Strahd campaign is going to be more frequently updated than this since sessions are weekly)
