You were walking on one of the trails in your local park on a cloudy Autumn afternoon. You were alone except for a few fat squirrels lingering around the pavilions. Somewhere you could hear faint music playing. You decided to follow the sound until you came to a stop at a tree with a hole in its trunk. The music you were hearing suddenly stopped playing. The hole was about a half a foot higher in the trunk than your height. You decided to stick your arm down the hole and felt around for the music maker. Your hand hit something that felt like cold metal. You grabbed the object and pulled it out of the tree, lowering it to your gaze. You discovered that it was a medium sized, black and white music box the had been adorned with a carousel horse on its lid. You opened the box and music started playing again. You recognized the song playing was Pop Goes The Weasel. You also noticed that a single piece of paper rested, folded in the corner of the compartment of the box. You gently picked up the parchment and unfolded it, revealing neat printed handwriting, saying only six words:

I'll be with you forever.                                                                                                                                                        Jack

You fold the paper up again and put it back in the box. Closing the lid, you put the box in your hoodie pocket and finish your walk.

(LJ's POV)                                                                                                                                                                                   I sit silently, waiting for the opportunity to speak to my newfound friend. She is rather beautiful with her (H/L) (H/C) hair and her (E/C) eyes. I'd love to speak to her soon, but I'll have to avoid scaring her. I'll wait until she's alone, yes, until she's vulnerable. My plans to bring her home with me shall wait until I gain her trust. We shall meet in person one day my dear. But until then, I'll be that little voice in your head, showing you the reality of it all.
