Mattia's p.o.v
I couldn't get what had happened in the parking lot out of my head. I literally put my hands on Kairi, I punched him in his mouth. I punched him because he was telling me the truth and I couldn't handle it, truth be told Kairi had made me feel things in a week that I didn't feel with Jora in the year we were together. I don't want to jump the gun and say I'm in love with him but I knew my feelings for him ran deeper than I had anticipated. It's been a whole week and every time I knocked on his door I didn't get an answer but today was the day he'll either come out or I go in but we will talk this out because I miss him and I feel horrible. I got the gift bag that had all his favorite snacks in there and a new pair of leggings from lululemons since I tore the last one. I walked over to kairis door and knocked , of course I didn't get an answer.
"Kai? Kai baby please open up" I pleaded , I sighed and put the bag down before picking the lock. Picking locks was something I learned to do back in jersey when I'd sneak out and go to parties. The door unlocked and I walked in seeing all of kairi's furniture covered in plastic and his fruit rotting in the decorative bowl theyvsat in. "Kairi" I called out walking into his bedroom, his bed was perfectly made and untouched , I ran to his bathroom and saw it clean as if nobody ever used it. I walked out and sat on his bed before putting my face in my hands and letting my tears flow freely. I fucked everything up with Kairi all because I was stupid for a "cheating skank" as my bubba said. Yes I said it , I said Kairi is MY bubba, regardless of him not doing attachment I know I meant something to him and he needed to know I felt the same way.
Kairi's p.o.v
"Please please No-mmm" I dropped the guy into the pool of toxic waste and listened to his flesh boil away. I sighed in content before whining at the high I felt wearing off.
"Ugh you didn't scream enough asshole" I whined putting my face in my hands before closing my eyes and pulling myself together. I was basically going insane without Mattia and it's irking me because we were only fuck buddies for a week and a half. He shouldn't have this type of power over me, he punched me, I have all right to be doing this. I walked out of the building hearing my phone ring.
"WHAT?" I yelled in irritation.
"Where the FUCK are you ?" Alejandro yelled.
"Idaho" I said casually
"YOU GOTTA BE FUCKIN ME" he screams
"Uhhhm actually you're the one who fucks me but suit yourself"
"Kairi what the fuck are you doing in Idaho?"
"Killing people, what else asshat?" I got into my car pulling off.
"You drove 37 hours just to kill people?" Alejandro whispered .
"Yeah, it's so refreshing" I said smiling softly as memories of me and Mattia played in my head over and over. I felt my eyes well up with tears but I pushed them back and took a deep breath.
"Come back home, your little boyfriend is going ballistic" Alejandro said with disgust lacing his voice.
"But my boyfriend is talking to me?"
"Kai you know we don't really do labels , I'm talking about Mattia , he messaged me 36 times in the past 10 minutes - look at that make it 37, 38, 39 , FUCKING SHIT KAIRI COME HOME"
"Fuck him, just block him, I'm not coming home until I feel better"
"Kai you gotta face him even- hold on someone is at my door" i heard Alejandro walk to his door and opened it a little.
"Is he here?" I heard someone ask.
"No and how the fuck did you get my address?" Ale asked the mystery person.
"KAIRI?" I heard someone scream
"Aye aye aye you can't just barge in my house" ale snapped following the person I guessed was Mattia. "Kairi come get him before I kill him for you" ale said before I heard the dial tone. I sighed before groaning and taking a left turn to the sign that said "leaving Soda Springs, Idaho". I can't believe Mattia drove 4 hours to get to Alejandro to see if I was there. Whatever it is that he wants with me it better be important because I have a long drive ahead of me.
