"Babe come on my mom and little brother will be here any minute"
"I'm coming I'm coming I'm coming"
"Haven't heard you say that in a while" I groaned grabbing kairi's hip.
"We had sex this morning Mattia shut up" I chuckled at him.
"So are you excited ?" He asked blushing.
"I mean yeah but I'm already basically married to you so all this is doing is making it official"
I asked Kairi to marry me about 8 months ago. I had took him to a very nice restaurant where I got down on one knee and popped the question. He said yes without hesitation and we started planning our weeding instantly.
"I know but you're about to be my husband, it feels so, new" Kairi blushed hiding his face in my chest.
"Awww is my baby flustered?"
"Fuck you"
"I would fuck you but my mom and brother are arriving soon"
Kairi smacked my chest and got up to go to the kitchen.
"OOOO BOY LOOK AT THAT ASS" I whistled and he flicked me off. After we moved here, Kairi had started his killings again but stopped when he claims he realized I was the only thing making him get that rush of adrenaline. That's also when he realized that he was indeed in love with me. So he stopped and decided to go to fashion school where he's now attending to be a fashion designer and he's damn good at it.
I on the other hand, started my own business that actually picked up around the time I asked Kairi to marry me. I'm now looking into buying over some football(SOCCER, we don't play that American shit..... sorry America, you were my first home but ..... fuck you for right now) teams. We chose to live in the huge house kairi's grandma left him because we made it our home very quickly considering we were in hiding for a while. That was, until the police stopped looking for my dad's murderer when they found his car burned to iron on the side of the road. They concluded he crashed and the car exploded, killing him instantly. After that happened I couldn't thank Melanni enough and we even became good friends after, she actually helped me pick a ring out for Kai.
"Knock knock" I heard my mom say as she entered our home while my brother trailed behind her.
"Mama" I cheered running up to her and kissing her cheek. After they confirmed my dad had died she emailed me an apology but I had intentionally broken my phone and computer so I wouldn't be tracked. The only reason I got the email was because Alejandro mentioned he had seen her in a coffee shop and she looked like a wreck. After I read the email I called her and we've been in touch ever since. It seemed as if though my dad had some type of control over her and that's why she didn't defend me all those times he'd verbally attack me.
"hola hijo mio te extrañe" she said hugging me tightly.
"I missed you too mom" I kissed her head and rubbed her back soothingly.
"Hey" Gianluca greeted dapping me up and walking into the house. "KAIRI" he yelled.
"IN THE KITCHEN"
"HEY LEAVE MY FIANCÉ ALONE"
"Ain't nothing wrong with sharing" Luca jokes sticking out his tongue and jogging to the kitchen.
"So how've you been mama?" I asked walking us to the couch so we could sit and talk.
"I've been okay, just lonely"
"Awww I'm sorry, have you tried dating again?"
"No mijo I can't , your father was my one true love"
"Oh" I said rolling my eyes
"Matti I know you and your dad weren't on good terms but he still is your father"
"Yeah I know"
"So are you excited for your wedding? It's 5 days away" I blushed at the thought of Kairi and I vowing to love each other until death.
"Yeah I am excited, I'm just ready to get it over with honestly"
"I'm glad you found your amor para siempre"
"Thanks mama"
"No problem hun"
Kairi came out with Luca as they laughed about whatever was their topic of conversation. I stared at Kairi in awe at just how beautiful he was, besides his traumatic past and his old deeds, he's an amazing person. Kairi sat on the arm of the chair and I pulled him on my lap.
"Bebe not in front of your mom" he whispered trying to get up.
"Noooo, stay" I whined hugging his waist tighter.
"You guys are so cute it makes me sick" Luca grumbled scrunching up his face.
"Luca stop it" my mom said giving him a pointed look.
Kairi looked at me and pecked my nose.
"I love you" he whispered softly
"I love you more, now and forever"
"Now and forever"
