"Suppose you could have chosen a worse nickname, but why have one in the first place?" Tsukishima asked once he Yamaguchi had caught up to him.

"Well I think nicknames are fun to give to anyone. As long as they are ok with it anyway. And seeing as you haven't told me to stop calling you that, something tells me you secretly like it." Yams said in a rather happy voice.

Tsukishima let out a sigh "Whatever, anyway let's get something to eat. Know any good places?" He asked looking over at Yamaguchi, who was busy staring at the glowing signs and night life going on around them. Tsukishima looked at him for a few extra seconds before nudging him.

"Oh! Gomen Tsukki, I know a good place up ahead. I believe they serve American food if that's ok?" He asked kinda shy since he didn't know what Tsukishima liked.

"Alright then, I will take your word for it." He said, coming up to the restaurant. It was themed after what seemed to be a western style 50's retro diner. //I'm sorry but like those are just really cool places to me // They looked up at the menu and ordered their food; then going and sitting at a booth in the corner. Now Tsukishima could actually look around at all the decor; there were license plates from every state in America on the walls, pictures of famous actors and characters all around, and even the front half of an old car. He thought this place was very interesting They owners are either American or really like the style.

They made idle chat, Tsukishima throwing in a few teases that he new would make his boss get at least a bit embarrassed, but not in a bad way. Once their food came they ate and it was actually really good, just like Yams had said. They spent the evening talking about the job and then certain people came in.

"Yamaguchi! Tsukishima!" They heard from the entrance of the restaurant; when looking there a bright-eyed, orange haired boy looked back. Accompanied by another tall male who looked like a blue berry. Tsukishima sighed in annoyance and Yamaguchi simply greeted them both.

"Hinata, Kageyama, what are you both doing here?" Yamaguchi asked glancing back and forth between the two.

Hinata instead ignored the question and said "It looks like you're getting friendly with your new worker, shameless" He said, obviously joking around. But it was enough to make Yamaguchi at least get a little pink.

Hinata then decided to finally answer Yamaguchi's earlier question "Yamayama and I were walking around and saw you two through the window and I decided to check in. Tsukishima, you moved in today right?"

Tsukishima, who had no interest in the conversation, simply nodded and said "I did, what about it shrimpy?" He said with one of his smirks that he makes while teasing people. Yamaguchi stifled a laugh from it and looked at the now angry tangerine.

"Oi Tsukishima, if you keep saying things like that nobody will like you." Hinata said, a little too loud for anyone's liking.

"Tsukki, let's get going since there are a few other places I wanted to show you." Yamaguchi said since they were gathering the attention of other customers.

Tsukishima nodded and turned to the door with Yams "Until next time shortie." He said as they walked off from the fuming orange.

Yamaguchi laughed a bit more openly that time since they were already out the door. "Okay, the next place I wanted to show you is this way." Yamaguchi said walking further down the street, after unknowingly grabbing the blondes wrist. Tsukishima, obviously caught off guard turn a bit red but didn't say anything. After all, if the cute barista you have had your eyes on for a while suddenly did that; would you just let go?

After a while of walking, talking, and showing; the two finally made it back around to the cafe. It was already around 10:30 pm so they decided to go to their separate rooms. Yamaguchi had let go of Tsukishima's wrist after noticing it when they walked into the business. Of course they were both a bit flustered, Yamaguchi more than Tsukki who just teased him about it.

They walked up the stairs, Yamaguchi then Tsukishima. As they arrived at the top Yamaguchi looked over at Tsukki with one of his shy smiles and said "Goodnight Tsukki. Sleep well, your first day is tomorrow." He said. Although just before going inside for the night, he could have swore he heard a small "Goodnight, Yams." Although before he could actually respond the blonde was already closing his door for the night
