(Grians POV)

I looked up, and is that-!?

i gasp in disbelief. There's no way..

But i would recognize that mustache anywhere... that unforgettable smile, and those deep red eyes....

"uh, are you okay?" He asked.

I realized i was staring at him and blushed. "I'm fine." i start picking up my books and he kneels down to help.

"Are you new here?" he asks.

"Uh, y-yeah" i take the rest of my things and run off.

I try not to cry as i run to my locker. Mumbo didn't recognize me so maybe he really did forget me!

(Mumbo's POV)

I watch confused as the boy who bumped into me runs away. Did i say something wrong?

He looked so familiar, with dark  blond hair that goes down to the bottoms of his ears and pretty blue eyes... wait, pretty? No, they just remind me of my girlfriend Eryn. He was also wearing a red sweater that almost swallowed him whole because he was so small.

He looks just like... no, it can't be him. There's no way.

Oh well. I shrug and go back to looking for Eryn.

(Grians POV)

It takes a few minutes for me to get to my locker and when i get there i take a deep breath before i open it. but as soon as i do someone slams it shut laughing.

"Hey!" i say before i think about it.

"Welcome to the school, loser!" it's the guy with the brown hair who was making out with that girl earlier. He's way taller than me (but not as tall as Mumbo) and he's wearing sunglasses and useless suspenders.

"Ren!" someone yells

i look over. it's a girl with long light pink hair that goes down to her back and covers her right eye. She's wearing a black hoodie and ripped jeans and a skull necklace and her lip is pierced. If i wasnt gay i would think she's really pretty.

"What do you want Eryn?" Ren says back to her.

"Leave him alone, he didnt do anything to you!" the girl, Eryn, puts her hands on her hips.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Ren smirks

"I'll tell Mumbo about this and he won't let you sit at our table at lunch anymore"

Ren stops smirking. "Why would he care?"

"Because he's not a douchebag. Now get out of here, you smell like a wet dog."

"Whatever, you aren't worth my time anyway." Ren walks away

Eryn turns to me. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah," i reply.

"Dont mind Ren. He's just a stupid jock who thinks he's cool."

"oh"

"You're new right? I'm Eryn" she smiles at me

"I'm Grian. Yeah, I'm new"

"Do you need someone to show you around?

"No, I think i'm okay."
