A/N: Holy smokes guys its been over a year since I wrote anything to do with Teach Me To Love so I wanted to make up for it. This part is almost 8000 words. XD Its pretty long but worth it.
Also I know nothing about birth and how it works and it probably shows here XD Anyways I really hope you guys enjoy and hopefully it wont be so long until the next part! <3 I do have a halloween special I wrote sometime last year that takes place after this part so with some editing it should be ready by Halloween, but maybe I'll have something different to add in between! <3

Kassidy and Killian sat in the waiting room for their next baby appointment. Today they were finding out the gender..except they weren't really finding out. The boys wanted to find out with them, but couldn't go to the appointment too so they were at home with the rest of their family and friends waiting for a gender reveal. Dr. Matthews was going to write the gender on a piece of paper, and they were going to take it home and open it with everyone. Kassidy didn't want to do the whole pink and blue thing that most gender reveals did because she thought it was silly that people typically thought Pink meant girl, and blue meant boy. Even when the boys were born, she wanted everything neutral.

"What are you hoping for love?" Killian asked as he kissed his nervous wifes hand.
"Healthy." Kassidy said. It was all she hoped for, she didn't care if the baby was a boy a girl or an alien she just wanted them to be healthy. These appointments always made her nervous since their miscarriage a year ago.
"Love.. I understand you're nervous. I am too." Killian said and squeezed her hand.
"We're only a week past what we were last time when.." She didn't finish the sentence. She took a deep breath and stood up trying to calm down. Killian remembered now that last time, the gender appointment was when they found out something was tragically wrong No wonder she was so worried.

"Jones." The nurse called. Kassidy froze, and Killian stood up and held her shoulders. "I'm right here with you, love. No matter what." He held her hand and they followed the nurse back to their room. Kassidy sat up on the table.
"I'm just going to get some vitals and then Doctor Matthews will be in with you shortly." She smiled.
Kassidy nodded while the nurse checked her over.
"Everything looks good. The doctor will see you shortly." She smiled and left the room. Kassidy chipped away at her nail polish.
"Talk to me love." Killian said and held her hands. "What's going on up there."
"What if she said everything was fine to make me feel better?" Kassidy asked.
"Kassi.. Its her job to be honest with you." Killian frowned.
"I just don't want to mess this up again." Kassidy mumbled. Killian tilted his head. He had no idea that Kassidy blamed herself all this time for what happened last year.
"Kass." He sighed. Kassidy looked up at him with watery eyes.
"What happened last year was not your fault. Doctor Matthews said that it was nothing either of us did; it was just an unfortunate and tragic thing. Don't blame yourself." Killian thumbed a tear away from her eye and pulled her close.
"Life is really good at throwing curveballs at us Killian.. I'm just trying to be prepared." Kassidy said.
"Aye, that it is. But no matter what curveballs life throws, you have me, and the boys, and we have you and as long as we all have each other everything is fine." Killian said and pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

Neither of them realized that the Doctor had walked into the room.
"Do you two need a few minutes?" She asked. Killian turned around.
"Oh.. No, I think we're okay." Killian said and smiled and looked at Kassidy. Kassidy nodded.
"We're okay." She said.
"I Know you both are incredibly nervous, but from everything I've seen, this pregnancy is very healthy, and Kassidys blood pressure is actually quite normal this go around." Doctor Matthews smiled. "Why don't we have a look at baby Jones?" She asked.

Kassidy smiled a little and laid back on the table, The doctor adjusted it a bit so she'd be able to see the screen.
"We still want to leave the gender a surprise until later right?" the Doctor asked.
"Aye." Killian nodded.
"Not a problem." She smiled and waited until Kassidy was ready. Killian smiled at Kassidys little baby bump. He just loved looking at it.
Kassidy looked at him, noticing him staring and a faint blush spread over her cheeks, Killian also loved that he could still make her blush when she caught him staring.
"Are the boys excited?" Doctor Matthews asked.
"Sean is. Al still thinks I swallowed a watermelon seed." Kassidy chuckled. "I think he just isn't ready for someone else to get attention."
Doctor Matthews chuckled and moved the transducer a little until the picture on the screen cleared up.
"There we are." She said. Kassidy's eyes brightened as she looked at the screen.
"Still just one?" Killian asked as he stepped closer to look at the screen.
"Yes, Mr. Jones." Doctor Mattews laughed. "Only one this time, I promise."
"Can you see the gender?" Kassidy asked.
The doctor nodded and wrote something down on a piece of paper and folded it up and handed it to Killian.
Kassidy looked at him.
"No peeking!" She said.
"I won't love." Killian smiled. "How does everything look?" He asked.
"Baby looks great!" Doctor Matthews beamed. "I'd still like Kassidy to take it as easy as possible and keep following the restrictions I gave, but things are looking wonderful so far."
"Glad to hear that." Killian smiled and looked at Kassidy who couldn't take her eyes off the screen.
"I just want them to be here already." She said.
"February will come soon enough." Doctor Matthews smiled.
