I was in a different setting, and I couldn't tell where it actually was, but I felt happy being there.

'Ah-ah! Gotchu niña!' this voice,it echoed through my ears like a catchy song and suddenly I saw Zabdiel running towards me and grabbing me by my waist. 'Now that I've got you, I won't let go of you'

I woke up breathing heavily, it was a dream, but it felt so real, the way he touched me felt more than real. I looked to my side and saw Diego still asleep, I kissed his forehead and got out of bed checking what time and day it was.

I could barely feel the cold from January as I went downstairs to make breakfast, wearing my shorts and a t-shirt, that's how hot it was today.

I was making pancakes when I heard someone entering the kitchen, being that someone Chris.

'Hey Bella' he said as he kissed the top of my head and went to the fridge to grab water.

'Hey, I'm making pancakes, do you and liv want some?'

'We'll take the offer' Chris smiled and went upstairs to wake olivia, while I stayed in the kitchen cooking.

'Happy birthday sweet boy' said as I jumped and hugged Richard behind with all my strength

'Gracias Nena' he kissed my cheek and then looked at Diego who was behind me.

'Happy Birthday man' Diego and Richard got along pretty well, I mean Diego got along with all of them and that just made my heart full.

'Thanks bro! Hm...mira Bella, I need to tal-' Richard spoke low to me, and in that moment a voice spoke over him

'Zabdi!!' Erick shouted as a kid who haven't seen his mother in years. My heart clenched at the sound of his name and a cold sensation made my stomach feel like butterflies. Why was a feeling this way?

'Ay Erick, ya te dice para que no me llames así' His girlfriend wasn't with him, and it made me wonder where she was.... Wait, I need to stop with this now.

'I'm sorry for not telling you sooner Bella' I turned my attention to Richard and smiled at him

'It's okay, I'm with Diego now. I'm just still hurt he ignored me like I did something bad. I really thought that we could be friends at least.' Richard hugged me and kissed the top of my head

' I'll be right back' I nodded at him and went next to Diego.

'Hey babe' he looked like he was in a trance, and I snapped my fingers in front of him trying to wake him up 'You okay?'

'Hey, yeah, yeah, I'm fine' he composed his posture and turned to me. 'Bella, is that you ex? Zabdiel?' I have told him about Zabdiel the night he met, because my drunk ass began to cry over him. Nice way to meet your actual boyfriend, am I right?

'Yeah, that's him, but you don't have to worry. I'm with you now, and I'm happy to be with you' I got on my toes and kissed his cheek, making him smile a bit.

'Bella! Diego! Let's go' I grabbed Diego's hand and guided him inside Richard's living room.

We were eating and when I realised, we were talking about things we used to do together. I stood quiet most of the time.

' Yeah, but that one time where someone pretended to be dead in the water really gave me nightmares and it still does' Joel said looking my way and shooting me a glare. I remember that day perfectly, it was the day where Zabdiel and I fell asleep in each other's arms and the day he punched that guy, and the day he admitted to be thinking of me. I snapped out of my trance and saw him, Zabdiel, looking at me, I bet he remembered that day too, but I'm with Diego now, I can't be here thinking about what him and I used to have and feel.

I wanted to talk to him, and ask all about his life, understand why he stopped talk to me at all. I miss talking to him, about random stuff, our beliefs and disbeliefs, the fact that I was always okay with anything and he always stressed about it, saying that I should be mad sometimes. I missed our car rides to work and home. I missed having him around.

I really need to stop with these thoughts, for God's sake Bella, you're dating Diego now and everything was fine.

'Earth to Bella' the sound of fingers being snapped got me out of my thoughts and I looked to the person in front of me and it was Joel. 'You're okay? You've been here for the past 10 minutes' I was in the kitchen leaned on the counter, while holding a glass of water.

'Yeah, I'm fine, I was just thinking' I put the glass on the counter and was ready to move, but Joel sat in a stool turned to me

'Richard told me how you feel about Zabdiel, and I'm going to be honest with you Bella. It's better if you move one, you're with Diego, but I know you too well and I know that you still have feelings for Zabdiel ' I let out a breath I didn't even knew I was holding. Joel was right....

'It's hard, even if only dates for half a year, I had feelings for him that I wont6ever have with anyone else. I.... I loved him with all my heart and it broke me to even think about breaking up with him, but I knew that it wouldn't last. Long distance relationships never last unless you have a really strong bond, I'm not saying we didn't, but we got so caught up with our jobs and the lack of communication was the last straw. I didn't want it to end, but it was the right thing to do, but what really broke my heart was the fact that he stopped talking to me, he didn't reply to my messages, I wouldn't even mind with a "I'm fine", I just wanted for us to be friends' At this point I cried a river in Richard's kitchen, while Joel just stood there looking at me.

'He suffered a lot from you breaking up. He just thought it was better for both of you to lose touch, to not create any expectations about him coming back'

'That's no excuse. He didn't stop talking to you guys, and I bet you guys thought he was coming back after that year, but you're right, I should forget him, for good.'

I don't even know what to say about this one, but to be honest I just hope that bella doesn't ruin things 😐

I'm sorry for updating so much, but I just can't control myself and I write the chapters and it bothers me to not post them on the moment 😐

But I'm going to let you guys breath for a day or two ( let's see if I can 😬)
