Chapter 2

*Mia's POV*

"Umm... Sor- uggh not you again. Havn't you learned to stay out of my way you freak. I was finished with you 3 years ago and you still don't get the memo!!", with that Luke stalked off to go find his friends or Cara you know to go share oxygen with each other just in case of emergenies

But those words were like daggers going through my heart but I had learn to deal with the pain and what not but after 3 months of not seeing him those words opened old wounds.

As I look at Luke's retreating form all what I could think is that damn he looks fine! I mean yeah he was good looking but know he is hot with a capital H. Damn that's a nice looking boy. All the girls will now be drooling over that hunk of meat yummm. I mean he's got spiked dirty blond hair and his deep blue eyes that look like a never ending ocean. But he's got that rugged look wearing a black tee and a nice pair of worn jeans holy mama. He's tall probably 6ft 4 or so and muscular making him the star quarterback on our high school football team.

Sometimes I wish he could be mine I don't care if it's as a friend, best friend or boyfriend I just want him back in my life.

Caught in my daydreams I didn't hear my best friends coming up behind me. Of course Katie jumped on my back screaming "Super duck to the rescue!!!"

You might want to know she loves ducks like LOVES ducks. It's crazy but I love her anyways.

"Get off her Katie! You could have given her an official meeting with the concrete!" Morgan warns.

Screaming I give them giant bear hugs almost knocking them down onto the ground. "Soooo was that what I thought I saw?" teased Morgan.

"Hehe I have no idea what you are talking about Morgan..." I replied shakily oh dear god no please don't tell me they saw that little Luke episode they will tease me forever.

"Oh but dearie I think you do know what we are talking about..." replied Katie.

Great just great they are gaining up on me using my secret... no one but these two girls in front of me knew that I was in love with Luke. Yes I'm still in love with him even after all the mean things he's said to me and done to me causing me to lose most of my friends. I know pathetic. But hey maybe...

"Hello Earth to Mia! Come in mother board come in!" yelled Katie gosh she's hyper this morning.

"Oh hey guys sorry I sorta zoned out for a minute there"

"More like 3 geesh" Morgan stated

Well this is totally embarrassing just daydreaming about a certain person who just oh so happens to have the name that starts with a L. I wonder who... if you guessed Larry the Lion I'm sorry but your wrong.

"So was it or was it not you that was in Luke's arms less than 10 min. ago?" both girls questioned.

Well there's no way out of this one is there now, heaving a sigh I finally admit it.

"Ha told you! Hand over the money Katie!" yelled Morgan.

"Wait... what the hell you guys were making bets on whether or not it Luke holding me stopping me from colliding to the ground!?"

"Yup, pretty much." they both replied and with that walking away leaving me in a state of shock.

Who bets on their friends non-existent love life! That is weird and a little freaky... Woah were did they go! Did they get abducted by aliens! NOOOOO Oh wait there right by the entrance! False alarm people.

"WAIT!!!" I screamed running after them, damn they walk fast, "What's your schedules?"

"Oh let's see..." said Morgan taking my schedule

"We have math, lunch and science together!" she said with a squeal.

Yes! They can save me from the torture called math or Mental. Abuse. To. Humans. Yeah I don't like math at all to say the least. There's numbers and letters together in one equation! That's like putting burgers and chocolate in the same meal. Yeah it's bad. Plus the teacher has it in for me for some reason. But I'm tending to think he's still mad about the time I unscrewed his wheely chair which collapsed under him weight. I mean seriously that was in 10th grade! This man can hold a grudge.

"Come on guys we need to go!!!" yelled Katie as she dragged us into school.

Well school for most people but a hell-hole to me. Ready or not here I come high school here I come.
