I woke up and it was pitch black. I turned over and saw the alarm clock it was 8:00 I was so late!! Maybe Nash was late to. I called him trowing on so suspenders a tie dye t-shirt and my red vans with a purple love jacket.
"Hey ,they canceled school today because of the snow."
"Really you should of called me."
"I came to your house but your mom told me you were sleep."
"Oh,okay."
"We should do something,come to my house."
"My mom can't know that I'm going to a boy's house."
"At the end of my street,Crystle lives there so tell her you're going there and walk the rest of the way to my house."
"Be there in a few,bye N-Bear."
I hung up and grabbed my coat.
"Mom can you take me to my friend's house?"
"Sure sweets."
I get in the car and we drive away. I tell my mom bye and I wait till her car disappears and I walk the rest to Nash's house, it was really cold. I knocked really hard cause I thought my legs couldn't move anymore. He finally answered the door. I quickly came in, then he helped me take my coat off.
"Thanks"
"Welcome, so what do you wanna do?"
"I don't know."
"Come on there has to be something you wanna do."
"I don't know."
"Come on let's just go to my room and get warm."
"I'm not going in your room!!"
"Why not?"
"Cause you might lock the door behind you and try to rape me."
"I'm not gonna do that."
"You swear?"
"I swear."
"Fine."
We went upstairs but I stayed behind Nash everywhere we went. I just didn't trust him.
"You don't trust me?"
"Not even a little."
"Why?"
"Because I know you and you will so something."
"I just swore to you. It'll be fine."
We went in his room and he closed the door.
"Why did you close the door?"
"Its cold."
"Look Nash if you come anywhere near me I'm gonna-"
"I'm not gonna do anything!"
We layed on the bed and watched TV. He wanted to watch something scary but I didn't.
"Are you gonna scream?"
"Maybe. I don't do scary movies."
"Today you will."
We started watching it and boy did I get scared. I started screaming and I launched into Nash arms.
"Its okay its just a movie okay, I promise to protect you."
We stared at each other and got really close were we gonna kiss? No, no, no Nash was my friend I couldn't do it but he was still reaching in for the kiss. I put my hands on his chest.
"Nash, um I have to go."
I start to go downstairs and reach for my coat.
"Wait Dianna I'm sorry."
"Nash we almost kissed we can't be friends anymore."
" But we didn't."
"Nash its not about what we didn't do its about what we almost did! I should of never came over here."
I don't know why but a tear fell from my face and I felt it. Nash felt bad for making me cry. Then he hugged me a whole lot of tears fell from my eyes when I was in his arms. We hugged until I stopped crying.
"You alright?"
"Yeah I'm gonna go home now."
"Okay bye princess."
I let a smile break free then I called my brother and told him to get me. My brother finally came and he looked mad.
"Its not what you think, we were just hanging out!"
"I didn't say anything."
"Oh.."
When I got back home Jessica was in my room. Oh I was so mad.
"What are you doing here!?"
"I came to say sorry and Sean and I broke up."
"Really?"
"Yes, I saw him with another girl and we broke up don't say I told you so."
"I told you so. Are you alright?"
"I'm gonna be."
We hugged then Jess looked at me weird.
"What's wrong?"
"You smell different."
"Oh, its Nash."
"Nash? Nash Goodman?"
"Yeah."
"Aw you have a boyfriend? And you didn't tell me!"
"He's not my boyfriend.We just hung out today and we almost kissed."
"Why didn't you let him?"
"I see him as a friend not as a boyfriend, we hang out and talk on the phone and I can't believe we almost kissed."
"You don't want him to hurt you? Is that why you won't go out with him? You have to losen up Ann."
"He asked me out and I told him I'll think about it."
"Did you think about it, just say yes."
"I can't, I'm friends with the girl that likes him and she's crazy."
"You can handle her."
"Look I'm not going out with Nash so don't try anything I'm going to the bathroom and ask your mom if you can spend the night."
I go to the bathroom. As soon as I go in there Jessica takes my phone and she text Nash that I'll go out with him. I come out the bathroom and I can't find my phone. Then Jess comes back.
"My mom said yes and sorry I accidentally took the wrong phone."
She was smiling and sweating like crazy I wonder what was wrong with her but I didn't bother. I look at my phone and I get a text from Nash.*Nash:First date Friday.
"What did you do Jess!!? First Date!!
"I couldn't help it but I told him that you would go out with him. I'm sorry your phone was right there and I am so sorry."
"Jess what have you done!!? Oh my god!!
*Dianna:Nash um..my friend told you I wanted to go out with you but I didn't say that so um take back what she said and I hope you don't get upset for me saying this. We can still hang out. *Nash:Oh....ok.
