Ok, I'm 13 and I'm sick of ranting to myself about how f**cked up the media is.
I asked 2 boys to tell me their idea of the perfect girl, they basically described Victoria's Secret models .
How many girls can live up to that expectation? The problem is this:💻📱-->.👬👭 --> 👬 --> 🙎🙍Media. Teens Boys. Girls
That's basically how I describe the cycle, the media feeds teens information, through images, videos and even books, we are taught the ideal girl/woman, all these skinny tan usually white females with long shiny hair.( The difference is now we have to be skinny and curvy?! )Anyway it's there from when were little kids, so it's normal. The information is imprinted in our minds, and many guys expect that to be how all girls are, young girls are continuously being told what's wrong and wright about them, and often it's coming from a large percentage of males. So girls stop seeing what's great about themselves, and only see what's "wrong". That's when thousands of is stars cutting, and developing eating disorders. Things need to change, come on, it's muthaf**king 2015!!
