Prologue

"Have it ever crossed your mind?" she asked before sipping the vanilla shake I bought her.

She then picked up her towel beside her to wipe her sweat. Kitang kita ko ang pagod niya. Well ang hirap din naman kasi ng patalon ng talon.

"What do you mean?" I bluntly asked.

"Love." with that, I stopped.

Have it ever crossed my mind? Then, his name popped in my head. I immediately shook my head to divert my thoughts.

"I don't know, I guess so..." nayuko ako ng bahagya bago ibinulong ang mga huling salita.

"Hindi pa talaga sigurado ha." she chuckled. Nangiti naman ako ng kaunti.

"Ikaw?"

"Well, yes." her eyes sparkled before turning her gaze at me. Nangiti ako sa sinabi niya.

"I guess I can finally say that I am in love." she then dipped the third batch of fries she bought.

"AC! Let's go!" napalingon naman ako sa boses na pinanggalingan. It was Rhett.

"Oh, alis ka na ate?" her almond eyes widened.

"Ah oo 'e. Sandali lang kasi kami talaga, Nanood lang kami nung game ng kapatid ko sa kabilang arena." she nodded trying to process my words.

"Sige sige, bye ate! See you when I see you." she waved her free hand holding two fries.

"Bye." I smiled walking behind with Rhett.

Napalingon naman sa anin si Rhett bago nakunot ang noo.

"Why are you walking slowly?" he pulled my arm so that we can have the same level.

"Love." I whispered.

"Huh?"

"Wala." napakunot ang noo ko at naisip na siguro siya nga ang mahal ko.

"You love me?" he slowly asked, making sure I won't get mad.

"I..." you can feel the cool breeze slowly moving my hair gracefully.

I don't know what to say.

"I love you too." he whispered and chuckled, he then placed his hand on top of my hair para guluhin ito.

Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya at iniangat ang tingin. He was smiling sweetly at me. "I love you AC, I really do."
