Life to life, breath to breath,
Fleeting onwards, fleeting homewards.
Morn not for me,
For we will meet again.
An age to an age,
A dawn to a dawn.
I cannot stay, dear one,
Though I wish I could.
There comes a time for all to let go
And my time has come.
I must go, but cry not,
For where I go is a better place.
No tears are shed there,
There is no sickness, no want.
It is home.
I will wait for you there in anticipation
Till we meet again at the feet
Of the King.
