A Nobody (Hayes Grier Fanfic)

Chapter 6

*BELLA'S POV*

I woke up, sat up in my bed and grabbed my phone off of the charger and checked twitter. When I opened the app I saw that hayes posted a tweet. 

@hayesgrier : I messed up! 

I just ignored it, and kept scrolling threw twitter. I finally closed it and texted Matt if he wanted to hang out.

Bella: Hey Matt! Wanna hang out today? 

Matt: Sure Bella!! Meet me by the mall at 11?

Bella: Sounds good I'll see you there! :)

Matt: Okay!

I got up and went into the shower and did my usual shower duties. I got out of the shower and decided I should look cute today so I picked out a white half top with some ripped skinny jeans and some high top white converse, with red earrings, and a gold necklace. I then added a little touch to my makeup I did, bronze eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, with mascara. I then added a Micheal Kors sling and sprayed on of my favorite fragrance. I then stepped into the bathroom once more and curled my hair loosely. I then grabbed my phone and start walking down the stairs. I told my mom I was gonna go meet Matt at the mall and I would be bad later. I walked outside my house, and started walking towards the mall. 

For some reason I got nervous to see Matt but the same excited. 

Do I have feelings for Matthew?

No Bella you don't like any boys there trouble.

I then texted Matt.

Bella: Hey! Do you wanna meet in the food court or in the main entrance?

Matt: Umm.. I think the main entrance will be fine!

When he said that it made me even more nervous because that is where all the gangs hang..

I just replied with an ok and started walking towards the main entrance. I then got there and I didn't see Matthew, so I texted him and asked where he was. As soon as I hit send I heard a guy say "Hey pretty l-l-lady" slurring his words real bad. He started walking up to me as i started backing away. He said "My name is JT and I-I-I was w-w-w-wondering if y-y-you wanna c-c-come over?!!!" I then started almost crying as he kept stepping closer and putting his hands on my shoulders looking up and down. 

I then heard a voice I though would never come! 

It was Matthew!

"BACK AWAY FROM HER BOY!!!" He said screaming at JT.

JT stepped away from me and then asked Matthew to fight him for me.

"Matthew don't and just walk away" I told him scared for my life.

He then did as I asked and we both just walked away, thankfully the guy didn't chase after us.

"Thank you Matt you came just in time, if you didn't come I don't know what I would do!" i said shakily.

"No problem Bella your my best friend I will always be here for you." He said while putting his arm around my shoulder. 

I wish we were more than just friends.

Stop that Bella, what are you saying, you don't like any boys.

Matt then asked me if I would like to go over to his house instead of us going in the mall, because we were both scared of that JT guy, well I don't know if Matt is scared but I for sure am.

It was about 11:30 now and we just got at Matt's house. Its really big and comfortable. He then showed me around and we ended up staying in his movie room watching Netflix. 

*HAYES POV* 

It just turned 12:00 and I was sitting on the bench in the park waiting for Bella to show up, and then I thought I saw her walking over to me, so I put my head down, looking at my knees and tried to get my words straight. I then walked over to her and said,

"Be-" I said with question when I noticed it wasn't Bella but Jordan. 

" Hey Babe!" Jordan said acting like everything was okay.

"Go away Jordan, I thought I told you were over!" I said as anger filled my eyes

"I know I just came over here to make sure you wanna make that move because you know you need me!" Jordan said flirtatiously. 

"Go Jordan before you start any more trouble!" I said almost screaming at her.

She finally slapped the back of my head and said "Whatever Grier you'll be back!"

After she had left I stayed there a couple more minutes because i wanted to see if Bella would come and sure enough she did not. I was a little depressed so i went to the person who made me always smile, besides Bella. I went to Matthew's house. 

As I knocked on the door I heard giggling come also with him, like a girls voice. Matthew opened the door and Bella was standing right next to him with a smile on her face, but once she saw me that smile faded. 

"Hey dude come on in, we were just watching Netflix in the movie room, wanna join?" Matt said to me knowing I was hurt that she was there with him. 

"Sure bro I'd love to." I said while still staring at Bella, she was so beautiful.

We walked up the stairs and into the movie room. They hit play and started laughing, I was over to the side just getting jealous and more jealous, wishing I was the one that made her laugh.

You would be Grier if you didn't screw everything up with her I said to myself. 

They then started laughing once more and at this time it made me mad. 

I then got on my phone and tweeted.

@hayesgrier : God why does she have to go to him! 

I guess people tagged Bella in it.

I didn't even know she had a twitter.

Bella said sorry to Matthew, I don't know why but then she started walking over to me and just what I didn't expect happened. 

"WHATS THIS SUPPOSE TO MEAN GRIER? I GO TO MATT BECAUSE HE MAKES ME HAPPY UNLIKE YOU, WHO MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M NOTHING, I MIGHT BE SHY AND ALL THAT SOMETIMES BUT, YOU CAN'T JUST SAY STUFF BEHIND MY BACK AND THINK ITS OK!"

I was so confused. 

I just replied with a "I-I-I I'm sorry Bella!" and ran out the door.
