Tired

where you up all night?  Emma asked amused
'No ' I said, clearly my throat and trying to act unbothered
'Alright, I think you should pay attention ,what the man is talking about is very important ' he said seriously .
I turned to find Freda laughing
Rolling my eyes ,I concentrated on the lectures. Not dozing off anymore. We closed around 1pm
Freda and I went to our faculty with directions from the executives.
We presented our slip to the HOD for his signature.
We walked back to our hall ,glancing around and gossiping about people's outfit .
Upon reaching my room , we departed .
I sat down on Cindy’s bed, and took out my phone. I saw a text from my mum and some other couple of friends I had met at the faculty.  I replied my mum first, then proceeded to text the others. I was about to put my phone away, when a text from Jason popped up, asking me how orientation was.  I gave a simple reply that it was okay.
I decided to take plantain plus my garden eggs prepared by my mom.
Cindy came in shortly after, followed by a guy I didn’t recognise
'Did you meet your HOD for the signature ' Cindy asked
'Yes, but there was a long queue ' I said frowning.
'You are lucky, we didn't meet ours’ she replied looking disappointed
'sorry ' I said feeling sorry for her
'Libby my friend Nathan ' she said introducing her male friend to me
‘Hi, to meet you’ I added
I went back to peeling my plantain .
Once I had put everything on fire, I came out of the balcony to find Cindy eating with her friend.
I stood there for a minute contemplating whether to climb my bed or sit on Maame Serwaa's bed whilst waiting for the food on fire.
Finally, I sat on Maame's bed
I took my phone, connecting the Wi-Fi; I went to YouTube to watch my favourite show
I was so engrossed in it; I forgot my food was on fire
'Libby , your food’ Cindy called out
'Oh my!’ I  cried out, hurrying  to the balcony.
'Is it okay '  Cindy asked from the room
'Yes , it's fine’  I answered
I served myself and enjoyed my meal, of course inviting my roommate and friend .
After eating ,I headed out to Freda's room .
'Freda' I called out
'Libby' she answered opening the door
'Hello 'I greeted her roommates
'Hello' they replied
I sat on Freda's bed
'What did you eat'? I inquired
'Rice and stew' she answered
'I am feeling sleepy all of sudden ,I am going to take a nap ,wake me up at 6pm will you? ‘ I told Freda
'I am coming to sleep as well ' she said laughing
'When you wake up, come and check up on me’ I said
'We will visit Gloria this evening in her hall' she informed me
'Sure, just wake me up'
Coming back to my room ,I climbed my bed and took my phone
I tried to read ,but sleep came so fast .
