Chapter Eight: The Move Upstate

I stared at myself I'm the suit, it was absolutely stunning, and I loved the slimming look to it, and my Helmet looked more like my dad's this time around.

"My ass looks great in this!" I said turning to the side to admire my butt. I took the suit off and placed it back in the case.

"Hey, don't forget to finish packing up your room. We're leaving tonight." Happy said entering my room.

"Okay, thank you." He turned to leave. "Happy!"

"Yes, Miss. Stark?"

"Do you have Peter Parker's address?" He was reluctant about giving me his address but I needed to see him before we moved upstate.

I grabbed my purse and keys and made my way to the elevator.

"Vanessa." Pepper said making me stop.

"Yeah, Mom?"

"I'm still not used to that." She smiled. "Where are you going? You should be finishing the last of the boxes in your room."

"I need to fix something." She nodded understanding where I was headed. The drive to Peter's was nice because it gave me time to gather my thoughts.

I reached his apartment building and headed up to the number listed on the paper Happy gave me.

I stood outside the door and gave myself another minute to go over what I was going to say.

I brought my hand up to the door and knocked hard twice. I heard shuffling on the other side then the door opened, it was May.

"Hey, Vanessa!"

"Hey Miss Parker." I smiled sweetly.

"Please, call me May. Come In." I stepped inside the apartment, it was cozy.

"Is peter home? I was hoping to talk to him."

"Yeah, he's getting ready for his school's homecoming." I felt a little part of me break, I should be going
To that dance with peter.

"Oh, I can go...it's just we're moving and I wanted to say my peace before
I'm hours away."

"No, I'll get him. He needs to be leaving soon anyways."

"Thanks."

"Peter, you're going to be late!"

"Coming!" His voice knocked all my thoughts out of my head, I stood up and waited for him to come out of his bedroom.

When he rounded the corner his face went white, he definitely wasn't expecting me.

"Hi, Peter."

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I wanted to talk, I can go if you don't want too."

"No, lets go outside." He said his goodbyes to his Aunt and we went up to the roof.

"So, you're moving to the facility upstate?"
