I'm Yours

Chapter 4

"Um, I was just gonna say goodnight. It's nice to see you guys together. You're cute together. Uh, I'm gonna go. Bye." Nash quickly says, his voice quivering.
"Nash, I-" I say but he's out of the bus.
Jack looks at me.
"What's was that about?" He asks.
"I don't know." I lie.
"Alright well goodnight. I'll see you in the morning." Jack says and kisses my cheek.
"Goodnight. I'm gonna go see if he's alright." I say and get down from my bed.
I go outside the bus and Nash is on the ground, sobbing.
I see him and I start to cry. I just cover my mouth and my shoulders shake.
I guess he didn't hear me come out because he doesn't say anything.
I accidentally take a huge breath in and Nash turns to me.
I'm still crying and he gets up.
"No, baby. It's okay." Nash hugs me, his shoulders shaking even more than mine.
We both stand outside in the dark and cry.
"I love you." He says.
"I love you, too."

I wake up in my bed the next morning and look to my right and see Nash sleeping in his bed.
Nash probably brought me inside last night.
I wake up. Everyone is still asleep.
I look down and Jack isn't there.
I quietly get out of bed and go outside, where Jack is sitting on the ground.
"Hey." I smile.
"Good morning." He looks up at me and smiles.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Nothing." Jack sighs.
"You sure?" I ask.
"Yea. I'm ready for our date." He says, obviously changing the subject.
"Me too." I smile.
"Dress good of you want. We're going to a place that's supposed to be really nice."
"Sounds good." I nod.
The door of the bus opens and Nash comes out.
"Hey, guys." He yawns and acts like nothing happened last night.
"Hey man." Jack sighs.
"Who wants to get some hotel breakfast?" Nash asks and I get up.
"Come on Jack." I say and reach down to him.
He takes my hand and then let's go.
"Nah, I'm not hungry."
"Uh, okay." I bite my lip.
"See you tonight, Alli." Jack says and I walk away with Nash.
"What's up with you two?" Nash asks.
"Not sure." I say.
When we get into the hotel there are 4 fans in the breakfast room. They all run to Nash and ask for pictures.
"Sure." He says and smiles with all of them.
I just sigh and get two oranges.
"I'm gonna go back, okay?" I say, while Nash is taking a picture.
"Sure. See you there?" Nash asks.
"Maybe." I say, looking at the line of people that have lined up to see Nash.
"Alli-" I hear Nash call for me and I just keep going.

Jack is still sitting outside when I get to the bus.
"I brought you an orange." I say and Jack takes it.
"Are there fans in there?" Jack says.
"Yea." I nod.
Jack takes a deep breath in and takes my hand.
"I liked that kiss last night." He intertwines our fingers.
"Me too." I say and smile.
"I forgot anyone was there, it probably wasn't the best place for our first kiss." Jack says.
"Yea, everyone was kinda blurred out for me. Well, except us. You were kind of the only person I could see." I say.
Jack laughs.
"Really? That's how it was with me." He reaches over and kisses my cheek.
"Are you sure you're okay? You can talk to me too, you know." I say.
"Yea, yea. I'm fine." Jack smiles.
"Good. Wouldn't want my date for tonight to be feeling bad." I say and Jack smirks.
"He isn't." Jack says and we go into the bus.
*4:30 pm*
I go into the bathroom and put on a almost maroon dress that goes to my mid-thighs.
It has a strip of red see through lace that goes across my stomach so you can see my nice tan and my pearl belly button ring.
I clip my blonde hair to one side and curl it. I put small diamond earrings in and tiny pearls in my second hole.
I put nude makeup on and wing my eyeliner.
By 5:45 I'm putting my shoes on and I assume the bus is empty because no one is talking.
I slip on tan heels and look at myself in the mirror of the bus bathroom.
I am have to admit, I look pretty hot.
I exit the bathroom and the bus is filled with Chad, the guys, and Mahogany.
Applause fills the bus as I look at the guys and then up to Nash, who is sitting on his bed with his mouth open.
I see everyone but Jack Gilinsky, which is who I want to see me.
"Jack, we have something to show you." Chad tells out the door and Jack comes in from outside.
"Oh my-" Jack (who is wearing a suit and tie) walks across the bus and hugs me.
"Hey, her hair! Don't ruin her hair!" Mahogany yells and Jack backs up.
"Alli, you look amazing. Oh my goodness." Jack looks into my eyes.
"Hi, Jack." I laugh.
"Hi." He whispers.
I hug Jack and then pull away.
"The car's outside. I'll wait for you there." Jack laughs and exits the bus.
"Alli, you look amazing." Cam says and rubs my arms.
"Thanks CamCam." I say.
"Be safe." He whispers to me.
"I will." I smile and all the guys tell me how good I look.
I see Nash get down from his bunk and I hug him.
I feel his arms wrap around me and I take a huge breath in. I smell his sweet cologne and pull away.
"You have fun, okay?" He smiles.
"Okay." I say.
I see Nash lean in a little and then stop.
He pulls away from me and smiles.
"Bye everyone." I smile and go outside.
It's kind of chilly out here. And foggy.
I look for a car and see headlights pull up.
I look at the car and see it's a classic navy blue Dodge. I get into the passengers seat and buckle up.
"You look amazing." Jack says.
"Thank you." I smile.
His black suit and maroon tie match my dress.
Jack turns and looks me in the eye.
I lean in and kiss him softly.
He pulls away in the car and we get onto the road.

Jack and I have dinner and are now on the dance floor.
The band is playing 'Riptide' by Vance Joy.
Jack and I are fast dancing to the song and I'm actually enjoying myself.
Once that song is over, the band starts singing 'Say Something' and Jack takes my waist.
I put my arms around him and he pulls me closer so our bodies are touching.
"And I am, feeling so small. It was over my head, I know nothing at all.." Jack sings and I can smell his peppermint breath.
"Say something I'm giving up on you." I sing the chorus with Jack.
The song plays on but we both stop singing.
"You're amazing Alli. You're truly amazing. Thank you so much for saying you'd go on this date with me." Jack says.
"No problem. I mean, I had nothing else to do.." I joke.
"I'm playing. I'm glad you asked me to go on this date." I say and Jack laughs.
"It's 8. We have to be at the rental place in like 3 hours and 45 minutes. You wanna get out of here and maybe do something else?" Jack says.
"Well, sure." I say and Jack takes my hand and we sneak outside.
"Ladies first." Jack opens the passenger door of the car.
"Thank you." I laugh and get in.
"Where do you want to go?" Jack asks and I think.
"Let's go to a park." I say and Jack puts an address into his maps on his phone.
The car starts and Jack slowly takes off.
We cruise down the road and I get the chills.
I get this weird feeling and look over at Jack.
He looks fine.
I begin to get a little scared as we go onto a big bridge with about 6 different lanes.
The bridge is packed and I begin to sweat.
"This car is going too slow." Jack says and turns his blinkers on before I can protest.
I feel a hard hit to the head as we hit a car that was trying to move up.
I hear glass breaking and car horns as my brain hammers.
"Ouch." I say and then I go blank.
