"Jennifer, shut the door," I stated. "Shut it now!"

Jennifer tried to shut the door as fast as she could, but Jeremy put his foot in the way.

"I'm sorry, but you can't be here," Jennifer said calmly.

"I'm sorry," Jeremy mocked. "But my son is in here"

"You made your choice a long time ago to leave me Jeremy, you might not have done it yourself but you sure made it really obvious" I said from behind Jennifer. She was still trying to push the door closed.

Mike walked downstairs, seeing everyone. He gave us all a smile until he saw that we were trying to keep someone outside. It obviously clicked in his head and he rushed down the stairs, and put more force on the door.

Almost instantly, Jeremy retracted his foot and the door slammed closed. We quickly locked it and put a heavy cabinet in front of it.

"Back doors" Mike said, racing to the back of the house to lock those doors too.

I let out a sigh and slid down to the floor, putting my head in my hands. "Why can't he just leave me alone"

"Come on Oscar, time for bed" Jennifer said, taking Oscar from Corbyn.

"Goodnight mummy," he said sweetly, giving me a hug before racing upstairs into his room.

"How did I gets so lucky to have a gorgeous little boy like that, but giving him an awful father?" I said to Corbyn as he sat next to me.

"He's adorable Emma, you did the right thing by passing him onto this family. You're lucky that you still get that relationship with him" he reassured me.

"But I tried so hard to keep his real dad out of the picture. I knew that if Jeremy found out, that something like this would happen" I rubbed my hands across my face.

"You tried Emma, you tried incredibly hard and you did succeed. But that's ok that he's here now, hopefully he'll give up eventually" Corbyn said, rubbing my back.

"You don't know Jeremy like I do, there's no way he'll give up that easily" I said.

"She's right," Amelia added. "Jeremy doesn't give up until he gets what he wants. He used to be the leader of the gang we were apart of when we were younger, him and Emma ruled it"

"You were a gang leader?" Jonah questioned.

"Guilty" I shrugged, laughing a little.

"I hate Jeremy, but without him I wouldn't have gotten the little bundle of joy that I get to call my son" I smiled a little.

"We'll find a way Emma," Daniel said. "We'll go to the police in the morning when everything's calmed down and talk to them about the possibilities that we can do"

"They don't like me down there. I have a pretty bad record from when I was younger" I told them. "You know, drugs, alcohol, I was a teen mum for god sake. I was not a good child"

Zach let out a small chuckle. "But look at you now, you've changed so much. We never would have guessed that you had a troubled past"

"We didn't even know until now," Jack added.

"We don't think of you any differently Emma, we all love you" Corbyn smiled. I rested my head on his shoulder and gave everyone a small smile.

"I hate to break this beautiful moment," Amelia said. "But it's been awfully quiet and I don't think Jeremy would just walk away, especially without some kind of remark"

My eyes widened. "Where is he?"

I jolted up and looked out the window to see if he was outside, he wasn't there.

Mike and Jennifer came back downstairs after tucking Oscar into bed.

Suddenly there was a loud scream.

"OSCAR!" I yelled, running up the stairs to his room. When I opened the door, I saw that he wasn't in there. "OSCAR!" I yelled again.

"Emma, the window" Amelia pointed.

The window was wide open, and considering that this house wasn't overly high up, it wouldn't hurt to jump out the window.

"He took my baby" I mumbled, sitting on his bed. "He took my baby..."
