"Quit the act" Corbyn said, walking in behind me. "You're scaring her"
Everyone's faces lit up and turned into smiles, then they all started laughing.
"Sorry, we knew you were coming and wanted to scare you" a guy with bleached hair and purple strands through it said. "I'm Jack"
"Oh my god! You must be Emma!" I heard a girl yell from the back of the bus. She pushed through all the boys and embraced me in a hug. "I'm Gabbie"
"Nice to meet you Gabbie," I said, laughing a little.
"Sorry" she said, pulling away. "I've just heard so much about you and I also wanted another girl on the bus. It's been a bit hectic"
"This is Amelia," I said, introducing her.
"Hi" Gabbie said and hugged her too. "This is going to be great! I don't have to deal with all of them by myself"
"Hey! We're not that bad" Jack said.
"So, you're the only girl on the bus?" I asked.
"Not really. I gave my daughter Lavender in the back but she's sleeping at the moment and doesn't really help with the annoying males"
"Oh my god, can we meet her when she wakes up?" Amelia asked.
Gabbies face lit up. "Of course!"
"Well before you guys get going with whatever you're doing, I'll introduce myself" a tall brunette said. "I'm jonah"
"Hey, I'm Daniel" a guy with bleached blonde hair said who was sitting next to Jonah.
"Nice to meet you guys" I smiled.
I looked at Amelia and I was surprised that she was containing herself. Normally she would be screaming by now.
The boys showed us where we were going to be sleeping tonight and then someone opened the bus door.
"Sound check" the guy said.
"Do you want to come watch?" Corbyn asked, I nodded.
"I'm staying with Lav," Gabbie said.
"I'll stay with Gabbie, if that's ok" Amelia said. Gabbie nodded with a smile.
"Remember the girls outside ok" Corbyn said. "Just smile"
I nodded and then the door opened. The boys flooded out of the bus and the girls started screaming their names. The boys didn't have time for photos, but they promised to do so on their way out.
Corbyn quickly grabbed my hand and led me towards the stage door. The girls went crazy and I already knew that this would be everywhere by tonight.
We got inside and the boys grabbed their equipment for sound check. i walked down to the seats and sat down. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through instagram while waiting for them.
I was already getting tagged in photos. I guess that it didn't take long for them to find my instagram. I was looking through some of the comments and saw that a lot of them were nice, but there was also a large handful that were really hurtful.
I kept reading the hateful ones instead of the nice ones, which really put my self esteem down. A tear slipped down my cheek and then I heard the sound of the boys walking onto the stage, talking into their mics. I quickly wiped the tear from my face and gave them a smile. I'm lucky that they couldn't see that I was crying due to the lights, otherwise they would ask me what's wrong. I don't really want to talk about it. Hopefully it gets better.
