"Your house is nice," Nick says as he's following Tony to his room. "Eh. It's alright, I guess" Tony says. He leads Nick up the stairs and into his bedroom. Nick looks around until his eyes land on a poster on his wall. "You like one direction?" He asks turning to him. "Uhm. Yeah" Tony says nervous Nick would judge him for it. "Me too. My favorite, actually" Nick says looking around again. "Really? Cool. Mine too. You want something to drink or anything?" Tony asks. "Uhm. No. Thank you though" Nick says shyly. Nick was a little thirsty, but he feels disrespectful. "You sure? We have plenty" Tony says about to walk out the door. "Yeah. I'm sure. Thank you" Nick said carefully sitting down on Tony's bed. "Okay. I'll be right back. I'm gonna get me something. I'll bring you water just in case you get thirsty, though" Tony says walking out the door. Nick nods his head and smiled, saying thank you. Tony walked down the stairs into the kitchen to be met with his mom. "Oh. You're home a little early" She says putting her hands on her hips. Tony's mom is one of those sassy moms. Thinks she really pretty, thinks she's good at everything, thinks she's better than everyone. Ya know? Tony usually hangs out after school with his friends. Or stays a little while longer to practice dance. But since he now has a report to work on and has a partner, he can't. "Yeah. I didn't stay. My history partner and I have a project to work on. He's here right now. I came down to get him and I a drink" Tony says walking to the refrigerator. "Him? Is he gay?" She asked disgusted. Tony turned to his mom. "What? No. Why do you assume all my friends are gay or something? He's not gay. Or bisexual. He's straight" He says with attitude. "Good. I don't want you hanging out with any gays. Their f*gs" She says walking off. That hurt Tony. Considering he's bisexual. "Hey champ. Whatchu doing home early?" His dad asks walking in. His dad is sweet. But also shows a lot of tough love. He always wants his sons to be perfect. Especially in sports. He's the one who got Tony and his big brother Ondreaz into dance. "I got assigned a partner for our history project. We have to make our own time to work on it. I brought him here. He's upstairs. I'm just getting something to drink. Can you and mom, like, not fight while he's here. It's his first time. And I don't want you guys fighting to be the first impression" Tony says walking out the kitchen. "Yeah! But when he leaves you and Ondre are practicing your dancing!" His dad yells as Tony walks up the stairs and back into his room. "Here. Just set it down there" Tony says handing Nick his water and sitting beside him. "Thank you," Nick says. Tony hummed in response. "So. Got any ideas on who and how we're gonna draw?" Tony asks turning to Nick. "I don't know. You choose..." Nick whispers. "Mhm?" Tony ask. "You choose..." Nick whispers again. "Nick. You're gonna have to speak up" Tony says smiling. "You choose," Nick says a little louder. "Now I heard it. But, no. We have to agree on something to draw" Tony says looking at Nick.

"Okay. We've literally been brainstorming for like two hours now" Tony says laughing. Nick laughed. Nick has gotten a little used to Tony. A little more comfortable around him. Still shy and quiet but not as much. "Yeah. I think it's time for me to head home" Nick says standing up. "Okay. Yeah, I'll drive you" Tony said grabbing his keys. "Thank you" Nick says. "Yeah. Should we work at your house tomorrow?" Tony asked as he and Nick walk out the door. "Uhm. I'll have to make sure to check with my parents but, yeah. It should be fine" Nick said. "Sweet" Tony says starting the car and driving off.

"Okay. Well. Thank you for dropping me off" Nick says getting out the car. "No problem. Here let me walk you to your door" Tony said. He got out and started walking with Nick to the door. "Thank you..." Nick says shyly. "Mhm. You say thank you too much" Tony says laughing. Nick smiled and hummed in response. They got to the front door and just as Nick was about to open it, the door opens and his mom appears. She looks at Nick, then at Tony and smiled. "Nick. Where have you been? And who's this young man?" She asks, looking at Nick smirking. Nick's mom is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. She's also that type of mom who is always by their child's side. She knows Nick is gay and is always encouraging Nick to find a new boyfriend. Since he's so shy and doesn't hang out with anyone, she's always thought it was going to be impossible for him to find someone. This is the first time Nick has ever not come home from school, and brought someone home, or let someone take him home. "Right. Mom, this is Tony. Tony, this is my mom" Nick says. Tony put a hand out. "Nice to meet you Mrs. Austin" He said. "Please. Call my Alicia" She says shaking Tony's hand. Tony smiled and nodded his head. "Was Nick gone for too long? I'm sorry. He came over so we could talk, then we lost track of time and-" She cut Tony off. "No no. It's fine. I was just a little worried because this is the first time he's ever hung out or anything" She says. Tony looked at Nick. "Really?" He asks. Nick ignored the question, trying to get this conversation over as soon as possible because he knew exactly what his mom was thinking. "Tony and I got assigned as history partners for a project. I was over at his house so we could work on it" He says. "Oh okay. Would you like to come in?" She asks turning to Tony. "I would love to, but I actually have to get home. I will some other time though. Oh, and Nick, let me give you my number so we can like talk or something" Tony said getting out his phone. They exchanged numbers and Tony left after a few more minutes of talking. "He's cute," Nicks mom says sitting next to Nick on the couch. "Mhm" He hummed. "I like him. You should date him" She says. Nick looks at her. "We're just friends. We're not gonna date" He says smiling. "Mhmhm" She hummed. Nick looked at her and rolled his eyes. He got up and started walking up the stairs. "You guys would be cute together, ya know!" She yelled. "Ignoring you!" He yelled back. He opened the door to his bedroom and plopped down on the bed. He looked at his phone and looked at Tony's number. He changed his contact name just to 'Tony'. And decided to text him.
