Talking To Taylor

I open my eyes to the sound of shuffling in the two rooms beside mine, I look at the clock to see it's only 5:49 huh they tried to escape later then expected. I shrug my shoulders and put on my brown boots and light grey beanie, I knew they would try to escape tonight everyone has before.

I'm a naturally quite person so I walk out of my room and stand in front of the stairs scrolling through my phone while leaning against the railing.

The sounds of shuffling continue until I hear their doors open "you guys trying to leave too?" I here Ryan ask

"Yeah there is no way in hell I'm staying here" I hear Bailey whisper back

I hear their footsteps coming towards the stairs "I can't believe that old hag thought her stupid monitor could keep us here" Taylor says causing me to smirk.

I flip the light switch to the hallway on and lean against the wall smirking at how they all froze in place and looked shocked.

"Sorry to interrupt but this stupid monitor is keeping you here, it's either stay hear and get help or go to jail seeing as all of you have done something to get yourselves their" I say with an innocent smile before turning into a glare that made Lucas flinch away from me.

I slowly walk towards them keeping my glare causing them to back away "First of all don't call Debbie an old hag and second don't piss me off" I say through gritted teeth

Colby squints his eyes at me "Or what? You can't make us shorty" he say with a smirk

I grab him by the arm, twist it around and slam him against the wall "I may be short but I am not delicate and I will not hesitate to kick your ass!" I yell at him before letting him go

Colby backs away while holding his arm "Are you insane or something!?" He yells back

I give him an innocent smile "oh sweetie you haven't seen how insane I can get, now all of you get dressed sense we're all up you guys are helping me with breakfast" I tell them before turning around and walking away.

~No one's POV~
Colby, Ryan, and Lucas walk back into their rooms while Taylor and Bailey return to theirs.

"I swear that girl is crazy" Colby complains while pulling out a black long sleeved shirt with the sleeves pushed to his elbow, blue jeans, and black converse.

Ryan chuckled at him "Your just pissed that she pushed you against the wall" Ryan teased when he came out of the bathroom in a pair of black joggers, a light grey hoodie-slash-henley, and bright white sneakers

Lucas was sitting on the bed already dressed in a white button up shirt with a dark blue sweater vest, tucked into his black skinny jeans, and paired if with his black sneakers "I think she's pretty cool, I mean your kind of intimidating but she's completely scary!" Lucas exclaims while solving his Rubik's cube.

Colby rolled his eyes "no she's not" he said while walking towards the bathroom

Ryan chuckled and patted his shoulder before he could go in "she kinda is" he said with a smirk before leaving the room with Lucas not far behind.

Colby wouldn't say it out loud but he did agree he shook his head and let out a chuckle before going into the bathroom to change.

Taylor stood in front of the mirror fixing her naturally curly hair while wearing dark washed ripped mom jeans, with a rose pink chocker crop top, and a pair of white platform block heeled Oxford boots.

Bailey was dressed in a long sleeved white and yellow sweater tucked into a pair of skinny jeans and white tennis shoes "It was awesome! I wish I could be that brave" Bailey said excitedly

Taylor rolled her eyes in annoyance as Bailey continued to rant about being brave, they walk to the doorway of the kitchen where Ryan, Lucas, and Kyrah were laughing even Colby slipped a small chuckle while he was stirring the pancake batter.

Taylor turned around to face Bailey with a glare "I don't fucking care! Please shut up!" She yelled Bailey immediately lowered her head and backed away.

The room went silent for a few minutes "Hey Bailey why don't you come over here and help Ryan with the Bacon" She says in a kind tone

Bailey smiled and walked over to Ryan who showed her how to cook the eggs while Kyrah walked over to Taylor "Let's go on a walk" she says

Colby looked at her in confusion "You're leaving us alone?" He asked

"Yeah I trust you besides Debbie's upstairs and I'll be right outside" she says with a grin

Taylor rolled her eyes "I don't wanna go with you" she said annoyed

Kyrah grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the door "Oh trust me I wasn't asking" Kyrah said before going outside

Kyrah sat down on the porch swing and pulled out a sketch book "This was dropped off by your mom this morning" She said as she watched Taylor stiffen

"Y-you met Connie" She said through gritted teeth

Kyrah nodded head "Yup, I don't like her" she said with a shrug

Taylor looked up in shock but happiness, she walked over and sat next to Kyrah "You'd be the first" Taylor muttered

"She brought some more of these sketch books, she told me to burn them" Kyrah said, Taylor snapped her head towards her in panic

Kyrah giggled and handed her the book "I didn't burn them I put them in a box in the living room" she said with a smile before standing up and walking towards the door

Taylor opened the book that held many of her own clothing design ideas "Well?" Kyrah asked gaining Taylor's attention "You gonna come eat breakfast?" Kyrah asked once more

Taylor let out a genuine smile "yeah" she said while walking with Kyrah back into the kitchen where Ryan, Bailey, Lucas, And Colby were eating peacefully.

Debbie walked down the stairs in a fancy black jumpsuit "Morning honey, I have meeting at work you think you can handle everything while I'm gone?" She asked Kyrah

Kyrah looked at Taylor and nodded her head towards Bailey with a knowing look "go ahead" she said, Taylor smiled and walked over to the table sitting next to Bailey.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier, think we can start over?" She asks with a hopeful smile

Bailey's face lit up in excitement "Yeah of course!" She exclaimed

The two girls began talking and getting to know one another "Don't worry Deb we'll be ok" Kyrah said with a smile as she kept her eyes on the five teens before her.

Debbie smiled before picking up her bag and leaving for work, Kyrah walked over to the teens with a smile and sat down at the table as she put two waffles, bacon, and eggs on her plate while listening as the five teens had fun and talked to each other.

'This just might work after all' Kyrah thought with a smile.
