Waking up in a room and no remembering where you are is one thing. Waking up in a room filled with medical appliances surrounding you, laying on an uncomfortable bed with a strange lad sitting in a chair next to you, and not remembering what happened, why you are laying in a hospital bed, and who that lad is sitting next to you   is a complete different thing.

I lift my hand up seeing needles in it. My body felt numb which freaked me out. Am I paralyzed? I quickly moved my fingers to test myself. I looked back over at the lad sitting on the chair beside the bed who was fast asleep. Maybe he knows why I’m here. I reached over to tap the lad on the shoulder.

“Excuse me.” I spoke softly, careful not to scare him.

His eyes fluttered open as he stretches in the chair. “Yes babe?” Babe? Who does he think he is to call me babe? His eyes popped when he looks me in the eyes. “Aria!” He shouted getting up from the chair and wrapping his arms around me.

The way he said my name sent shivers up neck. How does this guy know me? Is this a dream?  He pulled away from the embrace leaving his enormous hands on my shoulders.

“Who are you?” I blurted out.

I saw as he was taken back, by what I should have said. I started to feel bad when I saw his eyes start to water.

“I’m Harry. You don’t remember me?” He slowly took his hands off my shoulder to stand up and shoved his hands in his front pockets. I looked at him confused. Why would I remember him? I’ve never in my life seen this lad.

“No.” I watched as he shook his head brushing a hand through his brown curly hair.

“I’ll be right back.”

I didn’t have time to say anything as the lad ran out of the room hurt and sad.

***Harry’s Point of View***

I stormed out of the room they had put Aria in. How come she does not remember me? They never told me about any kind of memory lost that may occur! How could they leave out that information? My own girlfriend does not know who I am! That has got to be a lads worst nightmare.

As soon as I saw the desk where the nurses were I ran as fast as I could towards it. I reached desk and placed my hands on the edge.

“Aria,” I pant. “She’s awake.”

She quickly dialed a number on the phone next to her. “Dr. Martin, Aria…”

“Aria Summer,” I spoke knowingly.

“Aria Summer is now awake. Room 123. Okay I’ll meet you there.” The nurse hanged up the phone and grabbed a file walking out from behind the desk.

“What did the Doctor say?” I speed walked behind the nurse trying to keep up with her. I waited for her to speak but instead she held up a finger. If Louis was here, he would sass that nurse around.

We walked into the room Aria was assigned, followed by the doctor a few seconds later. I looked at the bed expecting to see Aria laying on the bed, but she was not. A door opened and out walked a struggling Aria. Her eyes met the three of us staring at her.

“What? I had to use the restroom.” She said, her cheeks turning a faint pink. I ran over to help her get back to the bed. “Thanks.”

I took a seat in the chair I slept in for two nights, next to Aria’s bed.

“If you don’t mind me asking, why am I here?” I looked over at a still confused Aria. Her eyebrows furrowed as she waited for an answer.

“Hello Aria, how are you feeling?” The doctor asked pointing a light in Aria’s eyes.
