(My Sole Survivor.)

It was a hot summer day. The heat beating on her face as she runs full speed. Luckily, due to adrenaline and fear, and a few chems, she hasn't felt the need to stop. 'Fucking deathclaws.' She thought to herself. Good thing she had a plan or else she'd been dead by now. She runs a lit bit faster than before she jumps as far as she can, and keeps on running. She tore her black trench coat as she turned the corner behind a building. 'Shit' she thought.

The deathclaw chased after her and stepped on a pile of frag mines. She heard a loud explosion. She looked over and saw half of a deathclaw lying in the dirt. She jumped with joy.

"Hell ya!"

"Hey I think your forgetting something." Said a raspy voice.

She turned around to find her best friend, Hancock, standing there with both hands on his hips.

"Thank you Hancock. But, can I ask you something?"

"Shoot" He said pulling a stimpack out and handed it to her.

"Uhh, why do you have so many frag mines? And why did you think it was a good idea to bring them with?" She ask while shoving the stimpack into her arm.

"Syd don't ask questions you don't want the answer to. Besides, it doesn't matter now anyways. The deathclaws' dead, I have no more, and we used the for a good purpose. Yay for us." He said as he handed her some Jet.

She rolls her eyes and takes it. They clink the together and take a hit.

~2 hours later~

After a long walk they finally made it to Goodneighbor. Hancock stopped.

"Hey let's go The Third Rail, we just restocked on whisky and I could really use a drink."

"I can never say no to to a drink and after a day like today, I could use one. But you're buying." She says as she walk with him.

They both enter and sit at the counter. Hancock sits normal, but Sid sits with her back against the counter and her elbows on top.

"Ello you two, so what will it be?" Charlie asks annoyed.

"The usual is fine."

"I'll have a Moonshine." Says Hancock.

"Woah, isn't that a too bit strong for you?" Ask Sid.

"What the hell are you talking about? I'm a big boy, I can handle it." Hancock says, patting his chest.

Sid just rolls her eyes.

"Sure you can."

"You don't think I can? Alright then." He slams a bag of caps on the counter. "I bet you 100 caps, that I can drink that whole thing and not start a fight. But you'll have to get one too"

"Alright, I'll bet." Sid places 100 caps down. "Who ever starts a fight first loses."

"Hey Charlie, change her order to Moonshine!" He yelled.

Both of them get their drinks and they chug it at the same time. Hancock finishes first. And they both wait 10 minutes.

~11 minutes later~

"YOu WaNnA fIgHt, AsShOlE!" Hancock yells.

Sid slowly slid all the caps into a bag. She knew what was going to happen next. Then everything went black.

Sid woke up with a horrible headache. She sat up from the couch she was sleeping on and took some Jet. If it was any other time she would've wondered how she got there, but since she was in Goodneighbor, she knew that McCready who helped them get to The Old State House.

"Well, well, well. Look who's finally awake." Sid turned around to see Hancock standing in the doorway. He probably had woken a few minutes before she did because he still looked tired.

"Sorry for sleeping in. I know we were suppose to head out earlier."

"It's alright, Sunshine. Let's go get some breakfast and then we'll head out. Alright?"

"Alright."

After breakfast they headed out twords Sanctuary Hills. They needed to grab supplies before Syd had to leave Hancock behind at Sanctuary once she stocked up on supplies.

As they're walking, Sid decides to check and see if there was any knew signals.

'It's been a few days since I've checked.' She thought.

She finds a new radio signal, and thanks to her curiosity she decided to follow it.

She pulled her sniper from behind her back and got in ready position as they got closer. Once she was close enough, she turned off her radio and began to investigate. Then, out of  nowhere, a group of Brotherhood soldiers jumped from a nearby vertibird and came running in their direction. Syd and Hancock hid from them not wanting to get involved. Then, a gunshot was fired at the solders. From the other side, three men and a ghoul began shooting.

Eventually, the soldiers retreated when they ran out of ammo.

Syd and Hancock walked out with their guns up.
