Sighing I stared at my phone's lock screen which was a picture of Kairo,Desire and Heaven laughing and smiling. It's been two week since everything went down which means two weeks since I've talked to or seen Desire and my kids since I was forced to tell Desire that I was going to pursue a relationship with Bria so I wasn't going to be coming around as much
My head was spinning and I didn't know what to do. Like how do handle this? How do I handle her or this situation without anybody getting harmed in the process?
"You're ready to order sir?" The waitress asked coming over to me
"I'll just have a coffee" I told her not even looking her way. I had no type of appetite and haven't had one for the past two weeks.
"Coming right up" She said walking away
"You better have a good ass reason for asking to meet up after you hurt my daughter" Los said snapping me out of my thoughts causing me to look his way as he took his seat across from me. "I should beat yo ass instead of sitting down" He mugged me
"Man I don't have time for this. I really need your help"
I know Los and I have animosity towards each other but he's the only person I know that's heavy in the game and that has connects everywhere that can help me get out of this fucking mess.And besides all the bullshit he be doing I know he'll do whatever to protect her.
"Why should I help you?" He raised his eyebrow
"Because your daughter and grand kids lives are at risk" I looked at him letting him know I was serious
"What the fuck did you do? And why the fuck are they in danger?" He raised his voice but then lowered it once he remembered that we were in public.
"I fucked the wrong bitch that's what happened. The chick Bria I got pregnant? She's fucking crazy. She has all these mental issues that I had no idea about. She killed my other baby mama" I said hoping he'll believe me
These past few weeks I found out that Bria has real life mental illnesses that can be extremely dangerous if she gets angry. She has some multiple personality disorder and some other shit that. She decided to stop taking her medication which led her to come up with this whole plan to get rid of Star and Desire.
"She killed Star? Word was that it was some niggas named Peanut and Blackie" Los asked looking confused
"They're working together. She sent the hit"I shook my head not believing in the mess I got myself into.
"Have you tried calling the police?" He asked
"Yeah. Nigga laughed in my face and hung up"I shrugged "So it's up to me to handle her"
"Nah. That's not the right way. You have a family to take care of to be getting yourself into legal trouble. I'll talk to the people I know in the field and let you know how we're going to fix this issue. Because if she's crazy like you say and Peanut and Blackie helping her then we have to think smart" He said which made me feel relieved.
I just wanted this mess to be over with and nobody to get hurt.
"I appreciate the help. I know I'm the last nigga you want to help but shit I'm lost at this point"
"When it comes to my daughter I don't give a fuck about shit else. I know I ain't been the dad she needs but that doesn't mean I won't give it all up for her and my other kids" He said as the waitress came back with my coffee
"Can I get you anything?" She asked him
"A water is fine"
"Coming up" She said walking away
"Why didn't you just tell Desire what's going on? Why sell her that bullshit ass lie? Breaking her heart?" He questioned and honestly hearing that shit just broke my heart
I didn't want to hurt her anymore than I already have. I swear all I want to do is work my ass off so I can get my money right and marry Desire and give her and my children the world and live happily ever after until we old and shit. But every time I'm a step close to getting that some keep pulling me back 10 steps. Every day that dream seem further and further away.
"Because Desire is already high risk right now.The doctor told us that she needs to be stress free.She's already paranoid with the dreams she has about Peanut and Blackie that I can't imagine how she's going to react when she realizes her dreams might become a reality. I can't risk her losing my daughter man. And the less she knows the better because who knows what she would do if she found out. She'll get herself killed without thinking just to protect Kairo and Heaven. I can't let that happen" I explained
There was nothing more that I wanted than to tell Desire everything that was going on but I couldn't risk sending her into a panic because to protect hers she won't think twice about shit.
"You have a good point but she deserves to know what's going on"
"I know and I plan on telling her when I know I have a solid plan so that she won't have to worry. That's why I'm sucking up my pride and asking you to help me. I need to know that if I kill her or something I won't be booked"
"I'll handle everything but until I get back to you do not do shit! I should have something figured out by tonight. I just gotta find out who they know and if they working for anybody high up. Once I get that information we will be able to take action"
"Do what you gotta do but do it quick. I need to be there when my daughters born" I told him
I didn't give a fuck about shit. I was going to attend my daughters birth even if I had to kill a bitch and do time.
