The crew had their guns out pointed at the floating metal ball with the green eye not knowing of it was a threat. "Please no need for weapons. I am completely harmless." It said. The crew looked at each other and lowered their weapons. "Who...What are you?" Kanan asked. "I am construct #02758903. But you can call me Delta. I am the Oracle of this ring." It said. "Okay Delta, tell us what are you doing here?" Hera asked. "I am here to asked for your assistance. When I saw you all survive this long against the new Gravemind known as Maul. I new you all were the ones to help with this project." Delta said. "What kind of project?" Sabine asked. "To rid this ring of the Flood of course." Delta said.

The crew looked at each other wondering if to trust this thing. "And how would we help rid the ring of the Flood?" Ezra asked. "Well first I would need two of you to come with me to The Tomb Of The Forerunners. There you will learn more there." Delta said. "And that is?" Mira asked skeptical about this. "The Tomb of The Forerunners is a place that the Forerunners created for the mortals that came across the rings. Only some have been created and this is now the only one left considering the other tombs were destroyed." He explained.

The crew talked to each other in silence. "Do you think we can trust him?" Sabine asked. "Don't know. We heard stories about the other constructs of the rings only wanted to protect the ring and fire them." Hera said. "But what if he's right and we have a chance to rid of Maul." Ezra said. "Ezra I know you want Maul dead, but I don't think this is the way." Kanan said. "What you think I wanna trust this metal glow in the dark ball just like that? I'm not letting my personal feelings cloud my judgement. I'm just saying that we saw what Maul is capable of. We can at least find answers to try and fight Maul." Ezra explained. "I agree with Ezra there is no harm in trying to find this tomb." Sabine added. "Okay then. You Ezra and Mira can go with our new 'friend' here and find this info we need. We'll stay here and try to repair the communication array and wait for the fleet to get here but be careful." Kanan said. "Don't worry if he tries anything, I'll end it right then and there." Ezra said. They all nodded and looked at Delta. "Alright lead lead the way." Ezra said while he and Sabine grabbed their helmets. "Excellent. We will leave now, it will take a while for us to get there." Delta said and they began to walk.

Ezra and Sabine were following Delta for two hours deep through the forest. "How can this place be a weapon but look so beautiful?" Sabine asked. "During the time of the Forerunners, wildlife was on the ring. Creatures beyond anything you can imagine. But when the Flood rose from the ground it desecrated all wildlife on the rings. That's what inspired the Forerunners to turn them into weapons." Delta explained. "To destroy the Flood." Ezra said. "Correct" Delta said.

After another hour of walking they came across a destroyed bridge over a canyon. "Now what?" Mira said. "Not to worry." Delta said and he started to glow. Then more floating orbs started to rise from the canyon and repair the bridge. "What are thoses?" Sabine asked. "They are Constructors. They help repair any damages to the ring and defend it from anything that want to do harm to the ring." Delta explained. Once the bridge was fixed they walked over it.

"I guess they did a poor job at protecting the ring from Maul." Mira said. "Well they are programmed to follow my orders and they haven't attack you people since you landed here. A construct like you could never understand the meaning of this ring." Delta said. "Why you....let me tell you something, you flying little-" "quiet. Listen." Ezra said.

Then they were attacked by the Night Brothers. It was elites and hunters from all directions. "Focus fire!" Ezra said and he and Sabine started shooting. They shot down some elites but the hunters was trying to corner them. Sabine threw her grenades underneath them and they exploded sending some flying. Ezra jumped on top of one and shot at its back putting it down. He then hopped on two more and ripped out the spikes in its back and placed sticky grenades on their backs and they blew up. But there was still alot more. Ezra and Sabine took cover behind a large log that fell on the ground. "Damn there's too many! We need find another to take them out!" Ezra said. "How?!" Sabine asked shooting over the log. "Not to worry. Assistance will be here soon." Delta said.

Then energy beams started to firing at the Night Brothers. Ezra and Sabine looked behind them and saw the Constructors taking out the enemies. "Oh so now you send them to attack the Night Brothers." Mira said. "They were interfering with our travel. They needed to be delt with. We must keep moving" Delta said and they continued their journey.

After awhile it was getting dark. Ezra suggested that they rest for the night. They made a fire and sat in a cave for the night. They sat in silence for a bit. Sabine was eating a Ration bar from her belt and Ezra was checking his animation. "You should eat something, Ezra. You're gonna need the strength for tomorrow." Sabine said and handed him a Ration bar. Ezra stomach growled under his armor, he gave out a small laugh and took the bar and ate it. "Thanks. Guess after the long day we had I was hungry." He said and Sabine chuckled at that.

After another moment of silence Sabine asked "so your parents. What were they like? If you don't mind me asking." Sabine said. "*signs* they were the most loving, caring, good hearted people you can meet, you can say in some ways I was like them." Ezra said. "Really you?" Sabine asked joking. "Yeah really. They were my inspiration. I tried everyday to make them proud. I wanted to be the warrior they saw in me. So I joined the UNSC. Trained everyday studied everyday and when I was ready I became a Spartan. I was really excited when I was in the same squad as them too.....they probably wouldn't have approved how I ended up after their death." Ezra explained. "What do you mean?" Sabine asked. "I pushed everyone away since they died. I shut everyone out and didn't want to let anyone in. I haven't been home in three years because I was afraid to get reminded by my parents. You might see me keeping calm for everything but inside this armor I slowly breaking without my parents." Ezra said.

Sabine got up and sat next to Ezra. "Ezra I don't believe that they would be ashamed at you. You just didn't know how to handle your grief. You turned out as an incredible Spartan. You are the most bravest, most stubborned, hard core soldier I know. And you know you have friends that are here for you when you need it." She said and grabbed his hand. Ezra smiled and told her "maybe you're right. And maybe I might think about staying with the crew." "You mean it?" Sabine said excited using her other hand to shake his shoulder. "Yes but that might change if you keep shaking me like." Ezra laughed. Sabine stopped and started to blush a bit. Then she yawned. "You should get your rest. Don't worry I got first watch." Ezra said. Sabine nodded and laid down and closed her eyes and was sleeping.

Mira appeared on Ezra hand and asked "You really mean that?" "Yeah, guess I spent way to much time with these guys." Ezra answered earning a smile from Mira. "Mind if I power down a bit Ez?" Mira asked. "Go ahead" he said and Mira powered down. Ezra exhaled and took something from his belt. He pressed the button and a image appeared.

Ezra smiled and wiped tears from his eyes at the picture

Ezra smiled and wiped tears from his eyes at the picture. "Well mom, dad. Looks like I made some new friends just like you said I would. I wish you guys can meet them. I love guys." He put the image away and stared into the forest.
