Chapter 1 :

I look down at the crumpled piece of paper I held within my grasp.

There laid the jobs I've been checking out that will both benefit for what I'm looking for and will help my desperate needs.

I skated down the sidewalk to my destination.

" 203,

204

205"

Muttering out the numbers of the houses as I breezed by them.

" Ah, 207" Coming to a sudden holt, I pick up my skate board before walking up the brick walkway and onto the house's front door steps.

This house reminds me of the one in ' Good Luck Charlie', I thought before coming back to reality.

I breath in and out, to keep my jumbled nerves in place and shake my hands from the sudden sweat I've created out of pure nerves.

" Come on, Mikey, don't back down now" mumbleding to myself, to bring a sense of encouragement for the task that may possibly change my life.

I rang the doorbell, sucked in a breath, crossed my ankles, crossed my fingers, as I stood still as a statue waiting for what is behind this fancy dark brown wooden door.

The door flew open and a cute blonde girl popped her head out.

" May I help you?" She questioned as her big blue eyes observed my weird stance.

I smiled and let out the breath, I haven't realized I held in.

" Oh, hi sweety, is your mom home?" I bent down a little to be the same height as her.

" Yea, I'll go get her" she beamed and scurried off in the house.

I breathed out a laugh and pulled a loose strand of my black hair behind my ear.

As a sense of entrainment while waiting, I pulled my skate board closer to fiddle with the dirty wheels as the sound of the clicks of an approaching figure reached my ears.

I raised my head and greet a beautiful blonde woman with crystal blue eyes, her white long sleeve blouse, black pencil skirt and black high heels made her look like a professional bussiness woman.

Her blonde curls tied in a bun behind her head, as a gentle smile portrayed on her gorgeous features.

She stood around 5'7 or so, matching my height but taller since she has heels.

" Yes?"

" Hi, I'm sorry to be a bother, but I'm here for the job offer as a nanny, is it still open?" I stood taller and kept my face straight, not allowing any nerves to pass through my strong stance.

" Ah, as a matter of fact, yes, come in" she opened the door wider, I hesitantly walked in and awkwardly found my self standing in the living room.

" Oh, sit down where ever you please" I took her offer and sat at a love seat on the right of the couch.

She sat on the couch and faced me.

I placed my skate board on my lap and shifted my guitar case off my back to place it on the side of the love seat.

" So ....., tell me why you think your eligible to work as a nanny for my kids?" She crossed her left leg over the right, layed an arm on the couch's arm rest and rested her elbow as well to balance holding her face on her hand.

" Well, I have experience through taking care of relatives as well as taking care of my siblings" I started but soon stopped as she seemed a little wary of my response.
