THE APOCALYPSE: Hunger for Retribution

We started our journey as we left the farmhouse. Blake has his shotgun on his back and a dagger on his side, Levi has his Glock-27 handgun on his side as well and an AR-15 rifle on his back that is easy to access. And I have he tactical knife on my pocket and a handgun given to me, which I don't have prior knowledge about, is now inside my bag.No assurance of whatever may happen but I guess were ready. We started walking and walking throught out the wide fields in this countryside. Luckily, wala pa kming naeencounter ng mga creatures or creeps habang naglalakad kami. Honestly, hindi ako nakakaramdam ng kahit anong pagod o gutom sa haba haba ng nilalakad naming. I guess the adrenaline in my body started kicking in. We kept on morving forward with minimal stops as possible to avoid contact. Walang imik kaming tatlo habang nagpapatuloy sa paglalakbay.

Until now, hindi pa rin kami nagpapansinan ni Blake, and I'm still confused and pissed at the same time kung bakit siya nagiinarte ng ganito. Thinking about our quarrel just makes my blood boil.

After hours of walking we finally got out fields. Medyo malapit na kami papuntang highway, I guess a couple more hours pa na paglalakad ang kakailanganin namin just to find a car. Right now we are in a sort of main road in the countryside. Scattered trees and tall grass surrounds the three of us while the road is clear with no signs of people passing through.

However-

"I hear something." Levi said with a serious tone while facing towards the road with his Glock-27 handgun on his right hand.

"Baka guni guni mo lang yun." Sagot ko sa kaniya habang natatawa pa ako. Baka paranoid lang talaga siya.

As I looked forward, he was not mistaken. MAY KOTSENG PAPUNTA SA AMIN NA ANG BILIS NG TAKBO! WHAT THE FREAKING HELL!?

"Hide!" sigaw ni Levi sa aming dalawa ni Blake habang kaming dalawni Blake ay nagkatinginan bigla.

"Bakit naman naming kailangan magtago, we can handle ourselves-"

"Are you stupid or just dumb?" inis na sagot sa akin habang nakatingin sa kotseng paparating.

Before I knew it Blake already grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the grasses. Nakadapa kaming dalawa ngayon and looking at Levi's next move with my heart racing at the same time.

"Bata, nasisiraan ka na ba ng bait? What if bandits yung mga yon?" malamig na tugon sa akin ni Blake at halatang galit rin sakin. ANONG GINAWA KO SAYO?!

I looked at Levi if he's doing well and all of a sudden-

BANG!

I heard gunshots and as I glanced at Him I saw right between my eyes, a scene in a movie, time slowing down as the agent handles the sudden situation, with swift and sudden movement he dodged those bullets like it was nothing. As the bullets keep on firing and him dodging, I came to a realization-

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?

As Tallahasse keeps on driving his 1965 Cadillac Convertible, I see a prey that I'm already interested.

With my AK-47 rifle I fired him ons of bullets while he keeps on dodging it like it was nothing.

"TALLAHASSE!"

BANG!

"DAMN IT!" I shouted as this old guy keeps on driving like a skilled mad man. HE IS WAY TOO GOOD. HE NEARLY GOT US!
