"I may be a skinny bitch but if I'm running I'm being chased."

My leg bounces excitedly as I stare out the window.

Almost home! Then I can go see Bradley! And school, it starts again in two days! Oh goodness, I'm so excited!

"If you keep bouncing your leg like that, you'll crash the plane." My brother, Noah informs me.

"No I won't." I scoff. We're landing right now anyways.

So I may be a little bit excited to see my best friend for the first time in three months, but who cares? Summer was spent in England with my family, and I had fun with my cousins, but I'm ready for Bradley.

I feel the wheels touch the ground. The plane gradually begins to slow down, and then we come to a complete stop.

After about three minutes, the intercom comes on.

"Passengers, at this time, you may turn on your electronics and exit the plane."

A whole flood of people go rushing off the plane. I grab my belongings and double check that I have everything and then join the flood of people. I took my own car here on purpose, simply because I don't want to go home, I want to go see Bradley.

I sprint off of the plane and run to baggage, waiting impatiently for my blue duffle bag to pop out.

The moment I see it, I shove my way through the flush of people and snag it.

"See you at home." I tell my parents and brother, and then I go running to the elevators, tripping over my suitcase as I do so. I press cars and wait. Others get on with me and I watch the little screen with the numbers on it as the floors pass quickly. The elevator stops twice, until it reaches the cars. I get out and dig my keys from my carry-on bag.

I wander the parking lot for my car, and then I just give up and press panic.

It beeps fifteen cars away. I press the button again to shut it off, and jog to my Saturn SL 1998. It's a silver old car. I had to buy it myself. I pop the truck and toss my suitcase in, and then I shut it and get in the drivers seat, tossing my carry-on bag in the passenger seat. I buckle my seatbelt and start my car. I put it in reverse and back up, and then I put it in drive and drive out of the car port.

I drive the fifteen minutes to Bradley's house and get out. I lock the doors and rush up to the door. I don't knock, I just walk in.

"BRADLEY!" I yell.

I hear a crash and a thud from upstairs, hurried footsteps, and then my giant best friend since third grade comes flying down the stairs.

"You're home!" he bellows, scooping me up in his arms like I weight nothing.

"And you're wet. Ew, is that sweat?"

"No, I was in the shower!" he laughs. "I can't believe it! Nearly three months without my annoying Ems!"

"Aw, you took a shower to smell good for me." I tease.

"Don't be fooled." He laughs.

"Hi Emma." Mrs. Scone greets me sweetly. "How was England?"

"Wonderful! I practiced my accent!" I change my voice. "Want some tea and crumpets?" she laughs and so does Mrs. Scone.

"Very good sweetheart." She smiles.

"Well we have to go now." Bradley says. He still hasn't put me down yet. He walks up the stairs.

"Oh shit." He says when he sets me down. His hand locks over my eyes.

"Ew! Who knows where your hand has been! Get off!" I swat at him.

"Wait. My towel fell."

"Ew. Don't hit me with it."

"With what?" he laughs.

"Your nub!" I say.

"Relax." I hear the door shut. "Keep your eyes closed."

"Oh trust me; I'll never open them again."

"Hey! I'm beautiful!" he whines.

"Ish." I say.

No, I know Bradley is hot. He's 5'10 and he is 170 pounds of pure muscle. Every single girl at school swoons over him.

I'm only 5'3 and a whole half head shorter.

"Okay, you can open them." He says.

"Where are you?" I ask, turning towards the sound of his voice.

"Right here." He pokes my arm. I run my hands down his bare chest until I feel clothes, and then, and only then do I open my eyes.

"You would rather touch my dick instead of seeing it?" he asks.

"Yes. If I saw your nub, I would just feel bad."

"It's not a nub!" he whines. "It's longer than my hand!" he holds his hand up.

"You've checked?"

"Of course I've checked!" he scoffs.

"Fine." I grab a ruler off of his cluttered desk and grab his hand.

From his palm to the tip of his thumb, it's eight inches.

I measure my hand. From my palm to the tip of my thumb, it's seven and a half.

He has a big dic.

"How thick is it." I tease.

"Two inches." He says proudly.

"Well good thing I'm never having sex with you." I laugh.

"You never know." He winks.

I swat at him and put the ruler back.

"Let's go outside." He says. He pauses. "I like your outfit today."

"Thanks." I grin. I have on gray vans, shredded light blue shorts, and a black Starbucks tank top.

He pulls on a pair of black basketball shorts and walks out of his room. I follow him.

"We're going outside."

"Can you two do me a favor and go pick up some milk?" Mrs. Scone asks politely.

"No." Bradley says at the same time that I say, "Of course."

"I don't want to." Bradley whines.

"Don't be rude to your Mom." I scold. "Of course we can get milk for you." I smile.

"Thank you sweetie." Mrs. Scone smiles. She hands me a five dollar bill and I drag Bradley out the door.

"Want me to drive?"

"No, let's walk." He decides.

Nodding, I walk across the grass to the sidewalk. The humid Connecticut air brings a bead of sweat to my forehead as we walk.

"It's so hot." He grumbles.

"It's not hot, it's humid." I say.

"Let's run." He says.

"I may be a skinny bitch, but if I'm running, I'm being chased."

"Well I spend days at the gym. I'll run for both of us."

He stops and grabs my hips. He puts me on his shoulders and starts running.

I scream as we run. He stops after a good half mile and lowers me to his back and continues his running.

Laughing, I wrap my arms around his neck.

He runs the rest of the way to the convenience store down the road. We venture in and I grab a gallon of whole milk. It has a red cap. I check the date and then go to the counter.

I pay with the five dollars and pocket the change.

When we get outside, Bradley puts me on his back again and the milk stays in his hands.

"Ready for round two?" he asks.

"Let's do it." I grin.
