Another Dimension You Say?

-Chapter I-

  Two men sat on their desks filled with paper works and chunks of metal

  a raven haired man wore eye protection glasses while welding a tiny machine with pieces of metal

  "hey Mike! got a screwdriver?"

   the other man yelled from the other side of the room.

  A tiny robot rolled towards Mike and patted his leg

  Mike gave the tiny robot the screwdriver and it made a beeping sound and rolled away.

   "Thanks beezle"

  a man with brown hair and glasses said to the robot and took the screwdriver from it's metal hands. 

  The door of the room slammed open and revealed a girl with brown hair and red tips on the bottom

  she wore a light blue hoodie and black pants with white converse, her backpack hanging on one of her shoulders and her hair was tied in a pony tail.

  The girl was panting, her hand was on the now open door and the other one was on the strap of her backpack

  her green eyes scanned the room and landed on the brown haired man.

  "Herbert! thank goodness you're here, Vivian was chasing me cause she was forcing me to get you  on a date with her"

  she looked back at the hallways on both sides and went inside the room and closed  the door

   Harry wiped his hands on a cloth and adjusted his glasses then walked towards the girl

  "and what did you tell her?" "that you don't wanna date her ugly ass"the girl smirked 

  "that's my girl" the two fist bumped and made an exploding effect

  Mike rolled his eyes and went back to what he was doing

  "what are you doing here Rosalie?" Mike asked not looking up from his work as the girl placed her bag on a table

   "well Poppa's at work and Reina's with her boyfriend so I thought I would hang here"Rosalie replied

  Harry went to the stacks of boxes beside her and opened one.

   "What are you guys making anyway?" she asked

   "well I was thinking on making a machine that could transport you to another world, but Mike said that was impossible"Harry said while crossing his arms on his chest

  "cause it is!" Mike yelled "yeah and you making a real life anime character isn't"

  Rosalie nodded "making a machine like that sounds fun"

   "right? just imagine seeing another you from another world"Harry trailed on

  Mike stood up and said "the boss is just gonna say you're wasting the company's money on something that cant be done" 

   "come on Mike, think about it, we'll be rich! this would be the best project in all of Spherecords " Harry said trying to convince Mike

  "yeah well think about breaking the law of space and time, it will be chaos" Rosalie said as she sat on the table behind her.

  "Yes! thank you Rosalie and that this machine is utterly impossible to make"

  Mike sighed while pinching the bridge of his nose

  "Mike listen please" Harry started

  "fine"

  "this invention would be the greatest in all of Bellham, heck, even the world, and if this works we could make time machines! or giant robots you could fight with in a war" Harry explained

   as he showed Mike the drawing he made of the said machine.

  Mike and Rosalie looked at each other unsure what to say

  Rosalie shrugged her shoulders and Mike shook his head and sighed

  "fine but we have to let the boss know first"

  "fantastic!" Harry cheered, pumping his fist in the air.

  Rosalie looked at her watch as soon as the conversation ended

   it was already 2:23 pm

  "before anything else let's go get some food, I'm hungry" she said, jumping off the table she sat on

   "when are you not hungry?" Mike spoke the obvious

  "lol true" Rosalie laughed

   They went to get their things as they went out the room and locking the door.

   The three of them walked the hallways when a voice called from behind them

  "hey losers!"

  all three of them turned around to see Arlene Huxley and Patricia Dufner.

  Arlene's slim and tall body walked beside a short but sexy Patricia

  who was waving her hands like a crazy woman

   At first glance,both of them could be models but chose to be scientists. 

  "Arlene!Pat!"Rosalie ran towards the two and wrapped them in a hug

   "hey kiddo"Arlene said while getting out of the hug and looked at the two men walking towards them

   "Hello ladies" Mike greeted with a wave and Pat waved back with a smile

  "where you guys going?" Pat asked

   wrapping her arm around Rosalie's shoulder

   "to go get some food wanna join us?", both the girls nodded and all five of them walked out the building

   "So you guys working on something yet? or  still scratch?" Arlene asked

   "yup we're going to make a machine that can transport you to another dimension" Harry replied

  both Pat and Arlene looked at Mike "and you agreed on this?" while Mike just shrugged.

  "oh come on guys trust me, I'll make this work" Harry said with determined face

   "well if it does make sure to take us out for dinner" Pat smirked and placed her hands on her hips

   "oh believe me it will and after that I'll become rich then all the girls would want to date me" Harry began bragging and resulted a smack on the head by Arlene

   "shut up Herbert"

  "Enough chit chat and hurry up, I know this diner down the block and they make good pancakes"

  Rosalie told the four adults behind her "sweet let's go"

  Pat and Rosalie raced down the street while the other three walked behind them.
