Forever and ever (Kogagoshi ff) HQ (FINISHED)

Chapter 2.

   We've been practising for a while now, but from time to time I cought myself staring on this Goshiki boy. 'Man, he's so strong!' I whined.
"Koganegawa! Focuse!" someone yelled, but way too late. The ball hit me right in the face.
"Ouch," I muttered. 'What a nice wake up.'

   The practise ended, but few of us stayed a bit longer.
"Kunimi! Wanna practise some spikes?" I asked, but the boy just rolled his eyes and refused my offer.
"I don't like that guy," I mumbled to Hinata.
"Kogane. We'll practise with you," Kindaichi, boy from the same school as Kunimi - Aoba Johsai, and few others came to me.
"I'll pick up the balls for you," the small tangerine smiled at us and we began our extra practise. 

   "Hey," a voice was heard from side of the court. It was Goshiki.
"I'll join," he said and put his things on the bench.
"Yeah, sure," I said, even though the boy was already standing on the other side of the net. We sarted playing again.

   It was Goshiki's turn to spike now. We tried to block him, but it was useless. 'He spiked the ball with such a force!' I thought as I watched him walk past me with a grinn on his face. He saw me looking and smirked. I frowned and clenched my jaw.
"Dammit!" the bowl-cut just chuckled and waited for his next turn.

I felt the heat rise to my cheeks. 'Wait! Why am I blushing?!' I thought. 'But that sound... of him chuckling... It was so cute!' I blushed even more.
"You okay?" Kindaichi asked.
"You're a bit red. Don't you feel sick or something?" Hinata joined. My face was completely red at this point.
"N-no! I-I'm okay," I yelled and wanted to return to the practise, but Hyakurawa spoke up: "I think we should call it a day. It's late already and we have school tomorrow, too." He suggested and all of us agreed.

Goshiki's POV

   'He blushed? Why?' I thought for a moment as I overheard their conversation. 'Well, maybe it's nothing.' I peekend over my shoulder just to see the weird-haired guy - Kogane - blushing again. 'Adorable.' I thought and hid my faice in towel, because I could feel the slight pink shade on my cheeks, too. 'What's wrong with me?!'

   I was sittng in a class, not really paying attention to the teacher. My thoughts were full of yesterday's evening. 'Why did I react like this? What's wrong with me? What-'

   "Goshiki!" I woke up from my daydream and realized that whole class was looking at me.
"Pay attention, please. You can thing about the girl later," the teacher glared on me.
"Y-yes sir. I'm sorry!" I appologized and hid my face in hands. '-but it wasn't a girl, sir!' I thought and blushed even more.

"Hey, what's up with you?" Shibata poked my arm after the shool ring went off. I looked on him and jumped on my feet. 
"Nothing! I'm perfectly fine!" I answered and took my lunch out of my bag. The other boy looked at me with a doubtful look.

   As the time went on, I found myself getting somehow excited about the upcoming practise. I wasn't really sure why, though.

Kogane's POV

   I stepped inside the gym and subconsciously looked into a pair of brown eyes. I smiled and walked to their owner.
"Good afternoon, Goshiki," I smiled, only to be greeted by quited "hi". I looked down on the younger boy. He was staring on the kneepad in his hands, deep in thoughts. I didn't want to look annoying, so I walked over to Hinata.
"Do you know what's wrong with him?" I pointed on the dark haired boy. Hinata looked in that direction and shook his head. He probably felt my eyes on him, because he returned my look. I immediately looked away.

   The practise was over, but I wasn't so tired yet. I searched the bowl-cut with my eyes.
"Eyo, Goshiki! Wanna practise with us again?" I asked. My voice was full of hope. Goshiki looked up and thought for a second, then nodded.
"Yay! Hinata, you're staying too, right?" I asked and the ginger shorty nodded with a loud 'of course!'. So we split into two teams and started playing.

Goshiki's POV

   'Those guys are so energetic!' I thought as I spiked the ball again.
"Nice recieve!" was heard through the gym.
"Dammit!" I mumbled. I couldn't really focuse on anything today. Well, accept one person. That weird-haired guy from Dateko - Koganegawa. I cought myself staring at him more than like 15 times today. I shook my head and sighed. 'Why am I acting like this?'

   We switched in our teams, so now I was blocking with Koganegawa and one more guy.
"Aren't you a setter?" I asked as we drank water from the bottles. 
"Yeah, but I'm part of the 'Iron wall', so I have to improve my blocking," he said with a smile, which made my heart jump.
"Oh, I see," I mumbled and turned away. 'How can someone be so damn cute?!' I asked myself as I stepped back on the court. 

   "Kindaichi!" the other team's setter yelled. The mentioned one jumped for the spike as me and Kogane jumped for a block. I stretched my arms as much as I could. Suddenly my fingers touched something warm and soft. I looked upwards just in time to see that mine and Kogane's hands were touching and then... 'WHAM!' Kindaichi's spike went right between my arms. I fell back to the ground and looked on my hand, which touched Kogane's. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach and my face heating up.

"I'm sorry I didn't block it," I mumbled when I remembered what happened.
"It's fine," Kogane tilted his head to the side.
"Are you okay?" he asked. I looked down and slowly nodded.
"Yeah... yeah, I just... gotta go. See you," I quickly said and left, my heart pounding fast. I ran into my dorm and slammed the door shut. I looked in the mirror and saw my tomato-red face. I could also feel tears in my eyes.
"What happened to me?" I whispered as I let the tears run down my cheeks.

Kogane's POV

   Hinata and I watched Goshiki ran away. I turned to the rest with a question in my eyes, but all of them shook their heads as a sign that they don't know what's up with the dark haired boy.
"Uhm... should we check on him?" I asked nervously.
"Nah, he'll be fine," someone spook up. I looked on the door once again and returned my focuse to the game.
"If you sa so..." I mumbled and we started playing again.

   I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't worried about my new friend. He seemed odd and wasn't really focusing on anything. I could say that from the look on his face today.
