chapter 2

   "We'll give your privacy " her mum says as she and her father left the room her mom waves and smiles at her before she goes "bye mumm ,ohhh wait when are you leaving for Nigeria"
"That'll be tomorrow morning were giving you our range rover we got another car " she squealed at what her mom said and gave her a big hug "thank you I love you soo much" her mum gave her a quick hug and walked out so they wouldn't be keeping their dad waiting immediately her mum left funmi locked her door ,removed her shoes and fell on her bed she was visibly tired they were already bags beneath her eyes after 30 minutes of staring into space she stood up she was so happy that her parents had given her an apartment and a car ,what more could a graduate ask for, she removed her dress and hung it in her cupboard  she was left with her panties and bra she felt so free as the air from her conditioner brushed her chocolate coloured skin she packed her curls into a bun and walked to her kitchen to get something to eat she took two huge bags of hot cheetos  and went to her room to eat it ,when she was done  she watched a little bit of Netflix on her laptop and fell asleep

   So guys I'm switching it to her pov(point of view  )sit tight its gonna get interesting

I woke up with a slight headache and I checked my phone for the time I saw 20 missed calls from both mom and dad
"Fuck "I scream running out of my room I had to take them to the airport it was already 30 minutes to their flight i washed my face and brushed my teeth, I wore my tie and dye hoodie and my shorts with my black flip flops to go with it I quickly run out of my door and drive to their hotel room they were already standing outside waiting for me my mum was visibly angry and gave me the stank eye immediately I came into sight "mum lemme help you with that "
"Nooo I can do it myself "
She packed all her things to the car and I helped my dad to carry his things he wasnt as annoyed as my mum was the drive was quiet until I decided to break it "mum I'm sorry I didn't mean to be late I woke up with a bad headache"
"I can never stay mad at my daughter"
"Thanks mum"  my dad just sat at the front  quietly he was really quiet and I wonder how such a gentle man and lousy woman met

"Funmi were so proud of you that you got a first class and we love you soo much but we have to go we have a lot of work back there I love you soo much"  "thank you mum I love you too "
My dad gave me a long hug  "see my       little girl of yesterday all grownup already  I'm so proud of you"
  "Byeeee I'll miss you I'll come home for the summer" that was the last thing  I said to them before they left  for nigeria I went home and started thinking about  getting a job .
