"Bye Karma!" I said waving at Karma when we reached the bottom of the mountain and walked the opposite direction to our house.
When I arrived home I saw some police cars parked by my house.
"Are you Nagisa Shiota?" One of the officers asked as I nodded my head not making eye contact with the policeman facing the floor. "Well I'm sure you are familiar with the abuse your mother has done to you am I right?" "Y-yes sir." "She is going to jail, but don't worry somebody already wants to adopt you." The police officer says and I look up at him with a questionable look "What do you mean sir?"
"It means you are getting adopted." He said writing something in his notebook "By who!?"
