Soon they were all down at the office. They started to look around and see if anyone was there, but they couldn't find anyone. Kasper bumped into a drawer and strange objects fell to the ground with a thud. He picked one of them up. He was feeling it for a bit, and couldn't tell what it was.

"Uh, guys?" Kasper said.

"Yeah?" replied several others.

"I think I found something." Many people walked toward him, following his voice. Max snatched it from his hands.

"It's a flashlight!" Max exclaimed, greatly relieved.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Turn it on!" exclaimed Brooke.

"Goodness! Move over!" said Veronica, shoving Brooke out of the way. "I need to be in on the action."

They found several other flashlights, and decided to go back to Mrs. Jones' classroom. When they were halfway there, Owen yelled: "Everyone hold hands! If we don't, some of us might get lost! Oh, and point the flashlights forward." "Ew! Gross no! We are not going to hold hands." said Gabriella, another popular girl. "Okay, well It's your fault if you get lost." replied Lincoln.

Everyone was holding hands except for the pops. Maddie, Karen, and Brooke called them the "Pops" because they were the more popular people. They included: Brittany, Gabriella, Heather, Logan, Karson, Jet, Hannah, Jaren, and Veronica.

When they finally got back to the classroom, they did a head count. They found a yearbook, which they used for the head count. They shone one of the flashlights on the book so they could see. Everyone was there except for the pops.

"Nobody panic!" yelled Owen.

"Somebody has to go find them!" said Christy. She was good friends with Gabriella, Brittany, and all the other girls.

"I'll go." said Alex, trying to be heroic.

"You shouldn't go alone. We'll go with you," said Brooke, with Maddie and Karen right behind her. Lincoln and Max stepped up.

"We'll go too." They said in unison.

"Well, I think only the six of you should go, so no more people get lost." Owen told them.

The six of them set off to go try to find the 'pops', with two flashlights. Lincoln and Karen were holding the flashlights, and all six of them were all holding hands. Lincoln stated to get bored, so he started waving the flashlight around.

"Would you stop that?" Brooke half-yelled.

"Stop what?" Lincoln teased.

"Stop waving the flashlight around!"

"Fine."

"Thank you." Brooke said, annoyed.

They went to the office, thinking they might find them there, because that was the last place they had been.

When they got to the office, they all screamed. The mascot costume of Rocky was in the chair where Mrs. Simmons used to sit. His big, fabric eyes stared right at them. A few of them screamed.

"I'm out," Alex said, holding his hands up like he was about to be shot by the police. "I'm going back to the classroom." he started to turn to the direction that the classroom was in.

"I wonder why?" Lincoln grumbled sarcastically. Alex snatched one of the flashlights from Karen.

"Okay, wimp!" Max shouted at Alex as he started sprinting back to Mrs. Jones' room.

The five that were left went all the way down to the music room, because they thought that they would check there and work their way back to Mrs. Jones' classroom. It was the farthest from Mrs. Jones' room, so they would work their way back from there.

"One man down," Karen sighed. "Five to go."
