I woke up to the warmth of the sun rays piercing through the blinds of our windows. The comforting soft fabric of the duvet was still wrapped around my body.
I turned around in the bed to see the other side of the bed was vacant. The sheets crumbled in it's placed. I placed my hand on the empty space to feel that it was cold. "Corbin must be up early" I yawned out. I sat up , knocking the duvet off my chest. The cold chilly air already causing goosebumps to arise on my skin.
I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and I stretched my arms out. I could feel the popping of my joints from the stiffness of sleep. I instantly felt my joints were much looser. I rolled my shoulders and stretched out my neck. I threw the duvet off my legs and got off the bed.
I walked towards the bedroom door and as I opened it , my senses where hit with the smell of something really good. I followed the mouth watering scent and I ended up walking to our kitchen area.
I walking into the kitchen to see my loving boyfriend with his black hoodie on and it looked like he was cooking something.
I tip toed towards him, and as I got close I wrapped my arms around him and hugged his back. He stiffened at first but I think he realized it was me so he calmed down. "You should be out of bed sweetheart" his rough morning voice spoke.
I snuggled my cold face into his warm hooded back and spoke. "I woke up and you weren't there, plus something smells delicious"
Corbin chuckled as he flipped the eggs, his one hand now over my interlocked hands at his stomach. "Jeez baby your hands are cold, go and warm up while I finish this up" Corbin told me as he incased my hands in his much warmer ones, in an attempt to warm them up.
"Are we eating in the lounge or bedroom" I sighed. "You choose"
"Let's cuddle on the couch, I'm in the mood for couch cuddles" I lightly kissed his cheek.
"Sounds good to me" Corbin chuckled, I released my arms from around him and he turned around and kissed my forehead.
I walked into our room and took out a gown and walked back into the lounge and I moved the coffee table closer to the sofa.
