CHAPTER 36- Keeping up Solomon's Family

Solomon woke up at 6am, he had an hour of sleep, for he went to bed at 4 cause of Simeon. He lazily got up and slipped on his bottoms, walking into the bathroom he freshened up and went downstairs for some coffee.

                  Solomon's POV:
I went downstairs and brewed some coffee for Simeon and myself, walking  back upstairs I knocked on the kids' room doors to wake them up. I heard little feet and groans, "guess they're awake already". The hand towel which was resting on my head started to slip so I rested it on my shoulder. I walked into my room and Simeon was fast asleep, I didn't wanna wake him, but he has work. I rested his coffee on the desk and stood infront of our window, looking down outside and seeing people get ready for their day. It was kinda cold outside because it rained earlier. I then felt something cold touch my neck, I froze and turned around, I saw Simeon smiling at me.

Simeon: Morning....

"Oh, you're up".

Simeon: Mmh... I don't wanna go to work today....

"Come on, let's go"

He pouted and held me close, I rubbed his head and kissed it.

Simeon: Are the kids awake?

I nodded and smiled a little. I can't believe we're talking about kids.... I still can't believe he's mine.

Then someone started knocking at our door.

Simeon: Come in.

All three of them came in, Luka tugged at Simeon's pants and smiled at him. Lura tugged at mine and Irene smiled at us.

Simeon: What do you guys need?

Irene: I have a project.... and I need some supplies.

Lura: I..... want something

Luka: Me too... 

Simeon knelt down and rubbed both Luka and Lura's cheeks. "And what is that?".

Lura and Luka: A PUPPY! OR A KITTY!

I rested my cup on Irene's head, still holding the handle. "And what do you have to get specifically?"

Irene: Ahhhh, folders, cardboard, markers, glitter, foam, some of those little fuzzy pom poms, ughh, and some rai-

I held my cup by her ear and it stinged a little.

Irene: OUCHH

"When is this due?"

Irene: ummm, day after tomorrow. :)

Simeon: And you're telling us now?

Irene: I forgot....

Simeon exhaled and held Lura up with one hand and held Luka's hand with his other one, "I guess we'll have to make some stops before work".

Lura: SO WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY?!

Simeon: Um....
He looked over at me with the words
"Do something" in his eyes.

I smiled and continued to drink my coffee and turned around. I heard him mummble and walk out of the room.
An hour passed and we were rushing around the house getting our final things before leaving.

Irene: Luka! Do you have my pen?!

Simeon: Come on Irene, don't yell

"I think it's in the car, I borrowed it yesterday" I said fixing my tie.

Lura: Dad, I wanna go to the pet store.

Simeon: Alright sweety, after work ok?

Lura: Okay...
