"Did the camera pick up anything?" I heard Spencer ask as Derek walked into the Medical Examiner's office. I had my gloves on writing a lab as Anthony and Spencer began looking over the body.

"He dropped him off a block away. This poor guy limped all the way to the hospital." Derek said and Anthony raised an eyebrow. I finished writing the lab I wanted sent out when Derek spoke. "Reid, you getting a migraine?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow not turning to them.

"No, no, I haven't had one of those for months ever since um..." He said trailing off and then changed subject. I snorted and Derek spoke again.

"Hads, what's so funny?" He asked and I snorted once more and then began laughing. I turned to face Derek and he raised an eyebrow. "Hadley, you're in a room...." Anthony said and then whispered. "with a dead person." He said and I spoke. 

"We're just going to let that go? The fact that he's cheating." I said and began laughing more and Anthony glanced over at Derek and then walked over to me grabbing my arm to guide me out of the room. "You need to go. I got-" He said and I snatched my hand back. "Don't tell me what I need to do." I said and I closed my eyes and ripped off my gloves and threw them on the counter and left.

Hours later I was in the office and looking down at the lab that was just sent back to me and everything I asked for came back negative. A thought came into my mind and I looked up.

"What if the UnSub is an amputee?"I asked and Derek looked over at me. "So he's working on a solution for his own condition?" He said but it came out as more of a question. "Well sure, the rest of it applies. He thinks he has some god complex." I said and Hotch raised an eyebrow. 

My phone went off and I looked down seeing the phone number of one I haven't seen in years. I picked it up and excused myself from the table.

"Lottie?" I asked and the girl answered. "Hey, Hadley."  She said and I raised an eyebrow. "What- why are you calling me?" I asked and she chuckled. "I'm back in New Orleans with mom and she said it's been a while since she last talked to you and Billy." She said and I breathed in and nodded. "Yeah, it's been 7 years." I said and she sighed. "I know. Look, I just wanted to see how you were. Maybe for thanksgiving we can have a family reunion?" She asked and I looked up to see Spencer in the office. "Uh, yeah. We can do that. Look, I'll call you later, okay? It was nice hearing from you." I said and hung up and walked into the office to Spencer and Hotch leaving. "What's going on?" I asked and Hotch looked at me. "We found our UnSub." He said and I nodded and went to leave but he stopped me. 

"Stay here." He said and walked away and I raised my eyebrow and shook my head watching as both Hotch and Spencer left.

I sighed walking into the house. I placed my bag on the small desk next to the door and took off my blazer. It was nice to be home and have the weekend off from work but that meant being home with Spencer. I put my hair up into a sloppy ponytail and walked into the kitchen- knowing Ellie was at her Uncle's house.

I heard the door open and I knew Spencer had walked in. I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and went to go leave but he spoke. "So you're going to ignore my existence?" He asked placing his bag down and I nodded. "Yeah pretty much." I said and he scoffed and I turned to him as he caught an attitude with me.

"Why are you catching an attitude with me?" I asked placing my hand on my hip and he raised an eyebrow. "I don't know, probably because you think I'm cheating on you." He said and I laughed. 

"Why else do you leave every Sunday? Why did you miss the brunch with Sarah's parents?" I asked and he sighed. "Because I forgot." He said and I licked my lips.

"You can't just forget to be a dad, Spencer." I said and he clenched his jaw. "Don't put this on my parenting skills, Hadley. I'm not cheating on you. I would never. " He said and I looked into his eyes.

"No, here's the thing. When you placed this ring on my finger- you told me you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me! And now you're sneaking off to talk to some other woman? " I asked and he threw his head back.

"It's not like that with her. I started speaking to her after I started going to the doctors." He said and I clenched my jaw. "You never told me this! Spencer, I don't care if you have to talk to another woman because of something that's going on with you. Okay? I don't. It's the fact that you've been sneaking off and you haven't told me nothing. That's not how a relationship works." I said and he sighed and closed his eyes nodding.

"I know. I know, and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you and that I've been sneaking off." He said and I nodded and he walked up to me and grabbed my hand. "I promise you, I would never cheat on you. Ever. " He said placing a hand on my cheek and I nodded and he leans down and kisses you softly, seeing a smile form on my lips as he pulls away.

I wrapped my arms around his neck bringing him down, his lips were warm and soft. They parted slightly, allowing my tongue to slip inside. I gripped my legs picking me up and he took me into the living room- the night that will change us forever.
