CHAPTER 17

Y/n POV

not so long after Sofia joined me in the bathroom, jumped on me and took me into her arms while leaving a sweet kiss on my lips.

"I need to talk to you about something" she said nervously.

"What is it?" i replied.

"You know about tomorrow night, it's the festival and i was wondering if maybe you wanna come?" she asked.

"Come with you? Like a frie.." before i could finish she cut me off and said "No, like my girlfriend, my official girlfriend" while smiling nervously.

In that moment, i literally froze in place, i didn't know how to react and most importantly if i was ready to be in front of every damn camera and be exposed. Actually i never really thought about this until now...
I realize i didn't answer her when five minutes later i saw her clapping her fingers in front of my face..

"Where did you go just now?" She said

"Humm.. maybe it's not the right time to come out as an official couple. It's a big event, a big moment for you and your career.." i said.

"Just be honest you are ashamed of me, of us, you just want me to be your little secret" she said angry.

"What?! No! I just i don't know if i'm ready to be into the spotlight like this, to be exposed and recognized and be followed.."

"Well, this is my life so if you're not ready what did you said you loved me?" she screamed at my face.

"Because i love you, this is the true Sofia, i never lie" i said very seriously.

"Well, this is my life so if you're not ready for this life then that's mean you're not ready for me and you clearly don't love me enough to be with me.." she said while looking into my eyes with tears running down her face.

I was gonna answer but she cut me off and said "You know what just leave..i think we said to each other everything we had to say at this point.. just leave please" she said feeling sad.

At this point, i give her last one look and slammed the door of the room.

I ran into Paulina in the hallway and told her to check on her sister not really explaining what happened.
I took my car and drove to my apartment.

SOFIA POV

She just slammed the door and leaved me here.
Maybe after all i was right, she doesn't love me.
I was crying in the bathroom and suddenly i hear Paulina coming

"Oh oh take it easy Sof! What happened? i saw Y/n in the hallway and she was out of it like you are right now.." she said

"I asked her to come to the festival as my girlfriend and she freak out and said she wasn't ready, so i told her if she wasn't ready for this life maybe she isn't ready for me after all and doesn't love me enough..
is she dating me or my life? Seriously i was so angry i told her to leave.." i explained to my sister with tears running down my face.

"Maybe she's just afraid, i see your point of view but i see hers too. Everything is gonna be alright.. You know what take a shower and we are going shopping. Sister time is what you need right now to distract yourself!" Pau said very enthusiastic.

"Maybe you are right, thank you Pau" i said while hugging her.

After taking a shower, we went shopping all day having fun and trying not to think about Y/n.
We decided to stay in bed and order sushi for the night cause tomorrow is the big day and we will be busy all day with the hair, the makeup, the outfit choice and all the interview before the festival.

At some point, i hoped that she would text me to apologize but she never did.
We eventually fell asleep while watching a movie on the tv.
