After dinner you walked to your hammock with Newt. You both sat side by side on your hammock and talked for ages. You kept getting distracted and found yourself staring at him a few times. "I'm really glad you're here." He said. "I'm glad to be here with you too." You replied. He smiled at you and said goodnight and you said goodnight back as you rolled over to lie down. It didn't take you long to fall asleep because you were absolutely exhausted.

You woke up in the night to Newt calling out in his sleep. You got out of your hammock and shook him awake. He shot straight up into a sitting position and sucked in a few deep breaths, he looked terrified. He calmed down when he saw you and you asked him if he wanted to talk about it. He nodded, still clearly shaken, and moved over for you to lie next to him. "I had a nightmare about when I jumped of the wall," he said. "I get them all the time but it still scares me to think how close I came to actually killing myself. I can't believe how stupid I am."
"Hey, you're not stupid. You were scared, I'm scared too." When you said it, it made you realise just how scared you were. If you didn't have Newt here you would probably be even worse. "You're scared?" He asked with sympathy. "Of course I am. I'd be crazy if I wasn't." You replied taking his hand in yours. "Do you think you're okay to sleep now?" You asked him. He nodded and you moved to get up. "You don't have to leave if you don't want to." He said. "You want me to stay with you?" You asked. Newt nodded again so you moved over a bit and got comfortable in his hammock. You got cold after a few minutes and started shivering. "You're freezing." Newt said. "I'm fine." You replied. "No you're not." He moved closer until you were touching "you're shivering." You were a bit warmer but you were still cold. Newt put his arms around you and any coldness instantly vanished. You turned to him and said thank you, he was grinning like a crazy person, and so were you.
