PART FOUR

“Neh, Ten-Ten! Onyx said we should go wake up Master Zero now!”

Tease almost sputtered the tea he was drinking as soon as those words left Finny’s mouth. It didn’t help either that the child was tugging on his sleeve.

“M-M-Me?!” he pointed to himself, panic plastered all over his face. “But why?!”

“Oi, newbie, are you complaining? HUH?!” Theo asked, totally looking down at poor Tease. He looked funny actually, wearing a pink lacey apron like that. But no one had the guts to laugh at him. Well, aside from Frost, that was. After all, he was the one who made the man wear it.

Tease vigorously shook his head. “No! NO! I’ll do it! I’ll fucking do it!”

“Neh, Onyx,” Finny mumbled, who was now on Onyx’s lap. “What is fucking?”

Onyx’s eyes widened, dropping the book he was reading. “Don’t say that word!” He then turned to Tease, who realized he just dug his own grave again. “YOU...!”

“Ehh? Should I ask Master Zero what that is? He knows everything…”

“Finny, no!”

Before anyone could blink, Finny was already out of the kitchen, dashing straight towards his master’s room.

“Look what you did! Isn't it common sense not to say profanities in front of a child?!” Silk took this chance to chastise Tease again. More importantly, he didn’t like the fact that the other was to wake their master up, and not him!

Frost sighed, rubbing his temple. Why oh why, ever since that new boy came, did everything became so chaotic?

Before he got his bottom kicked by the raging Onyx, Tease went out of the kitchen. He ran to follow Finny, and cursed yet again under his breath when he saw that the door was already opened. He entered the room, and blinked with what he saw.

The kid was jumping on their master’s bed, while the latter was still asleep. Was that how they were supposed to wake him up? Tease’s brows furrowed in confusion.

“Master Zero! Master Zero! Wake up, please! Neh, Master!” Finny chanted, still jumping. He only stopped once he saw Zero stirring.

Tease blushed with the sight of his master. Everytime he saw his face, he couldn’t help but remember everything that he saw back in the dungeons. It even left him sleepless nights… and messed up duvets. That was why he was very hesitant when he found out a while ago that he was assigned to wake him up for today.
