Plants
Nature's beauty,
fresh and green
Such perfect a beauty,
As it should be.
But one thing that worries me,
Tugs at my mind.
What should become of them
In two-hundred or so years time?
Will they still be here,
Or will they be gone?
Nothing for future generations to see,
To feel,
To experience.
What will happen
when the plants are all gone?
When there is no flora, or any faun.
I wish to see,
A future for these,
Because they mean the world to me.
Plants make me feel free, and full of hope.
But if they were gone, in the darkness I'd grope
To find a freedom such as this.
Plants are my minds fulfilled bliss.
