*Angel*

I sat in my room holding my pocket watch. He was just like I had remembered. I watched as Alastor sang and danced with Charlie, feeling large pangs of jealousy. It was patronizing to watch my own lover waltz around with my best friend. After the eventful day, Charlie walked to me and seemed all flustered.

"Wow, Alastor is really something." Vaggie looked disheartened as she saw Charlie blush and speak. Vaggie seemed to get a bit more jealous than she already was. I got up and sighed. I walked to my room, Fat Nuggets following close behind me. I got to my room and smiled as I looked to all the little fish bowls. Charlie and I came to the conclusion I wasn't good with animals. I loved 'em, but Nugs was the only one I had time for. Though she knew I loved to be surrounded by living things I could care for. So we both agreed on 1 perfect pet, marimo balls! More commonly know as moss balls. They were plants, but I loved them all very much. Coming home from work to just be with them was satisfying. It calmed my anxiety. I had twenty in total. My first two were Joe and Minn. Joe and Minn were a couple of marimo that lived in a decent sized enclosure with a moss ball that sprouted from Minn, Matzo was his name. I sat next to the lil' family and took out Joe gently. Marimo are ok to hold. I roll him gently in my hands and smiled. Charlie was a lil' wierded out by my hobby, but she supported my lil' family. She loved coming and bringing more and more, until I begged her to stop because the water changes were extensive. She'd always bring me fake plants to put in my lil bowls, and it made me happy. I put Joe with Minn, and looked around the room to the lil' guys. I heard a knock on my door, so I opened it. I found Alastor at my door.

"Angel! Charlie has asked me to be acquainted with the guests! May we speak for a short moment?" I realized this was my chance to actually get to talk to him. I silently let him in, and he looked around me confused. "You have many plants." I blushed a bit and nodded.

"Yeah they're my pet moss balls. They make me feel less alone." Alastor nodded.

"Do they all have names?" I giggled and nodded.

I began introducing Alastor to the small green guests in my room. "This is the lil family of the room. There is Joe, Minn, and their son Matzo. Then you move to these tanks, and there is Noodle, my most recent moss ball. Then Simon who had Logan sprout from him. They are best friends. Then there is Stacy who is kinda always in her own lil' world over here by my window."  Alastor seemed genuinely interested in my lil moss balls, and that made me really happy!  In my living life, my world was him. My everything belonged to him... when I couldn't find my Smokey in Hell, I resorted to pets to fill the void in me.

"These small creatures are absolutely fascinating." I nodded.

"Thanks, but there isn't really much to know about me. This is my room and I kinda just come here after work. I hope that is enough for you and Charlie." Alastor seemed to look away in embarrassment.

"Actually Charlie didn't send me here. You seemed to be rather unhappy earlier, so I wanted to invite you out to lunch with me." My cheeks flushed a bit, since well I hadn't been on a date with Alastor since like... 70 years ago, but I had to find out his weakness I guess... that way I could be free of my contract! Alastor probably had no place for me in his life anymore anyway.

"I'd love to go out to lunch! I'm sure it'lll be fun!" Alastor nodded and we left the hotel together. Nuggets was on a leash with me. He was my emotional support animal, and I loved him so much. Alastor looked to the pig.

"Why do you have a pet pig? I'm just curious!" I giggled and shook my head.

"No it's ok. I got Fat Nuggets as an emotional support animal. Pretty much I've had him since I gotten to Hell. He pretty much helps with my anxiety and severe depression. Another  reason I have moss balls. I experience feeling lonely a lot, so he and my moss balls comfort me a lot. After losing my partner in real life, I felt kinda lost..." Alastor looked to me a bit disheartened. I remembered what my job was so I tried to lighten the mood and be all cute. "Though I'm happy you and I can hopefully become friends." Alastor's smile returned.

"Well I do wish to help with the hotel, even if redemption is impossible." I looked to Alastor, and kinda wanted to see his reaction to something.

"Do you really think redemption isn't possible for me?" He looked a bit shocked and sighed.

"In my opinion redemption has already passed. We've all made our choices." He smiled to me. "But where there is a will, there is a way. Out of anyone in Hell, I think you could give it a good shot." I smiled. I liked that answer a lot. He was still as sweet as ever.

"Would you ever try being redeemed?" Alastor burst out laughing.

"Absoloutely not. I'm a murderer. There is no way I'd get a chance at being up there." I giggled a bit, causing Alastor to look at me confused.

"I'm a pornstar and drug addict, plus an ex son of a mafia boss. If I can make it, so can you. For me, I wanna see my mom again." Alastor looked to me and nodded.

"Between you and I... I'd like to see my lover." I felt my cheeks flush.

"Who?" He smiled off into the distance sadly.

"He was the light of my life. He made me happy... and I died to early to ever get to say goodbye. I knew he was with me for my money... but I still loved him, and deep down he loved me. He was my all. My love, my life, my all..." I felt my cheeks flush.

"I'm sure he misses you too..." Alastor nodded.

"Though.... fate keeps us apart."

"Maybe not forever?"

"... maybe."
