"Don't worry i brought some in my trunk" he says relieving me.
"Good" i say with a little giggle. I get out the car and head to his truck. I picked one up and went to a bench to tighten up my shoes just in case so i don't trip.
I get on the penny board and chase follows next to me but i fall forward when i get to the bottom but luckily i just landed on my side. Chase rolls over to me.
"You okay??" he says trying to help.
I nod as i wipe off the dirt from me. I wince from the scratches from my hands.
"I think i'm just kinda rusty, hasn't been a year since i last rolled" i tell him.
He rests his hands on my waist and i feel that nervous feeling again and i gulp.
"sure" i say with a soft smile. Anyways i was only a basic rider, i didn't know how to do many tricks. I mostly only knew how to ride and do a simple kick flip.
"Ok you go back up and try to ride down if you fall i'll catch you" he tells me. I nod and I go back up the concrete hill. I back up from the edge and run onto the penny board. Again when i get to the bottom again i almost fall forward but Chase grabs my waist and the penny board flys off.
"How about you bend your knees when you on the ramp part" he tells me. I nod and go back up again.
I take a deep breathe and roll down again bending my knees and when i get to the bottom i extend my legs again and i didn't fall.
I roll around him smiling.
"See you did it" he says with a smile on his face.
"Yea i did, thanks to you" i say stopping in front of him. We had a little moment losing each other in each other's eyes but that was all it was, a moment. He broke the silence.
"Hey there's going to be a party tomorrow at Anthony's place, you should come" he tells me. I nod. "Sure i'll go with Natalie maybe" i say back. He nods. "Let's get something to eat before we go?" i ask. "Sure" he says and i smile softly. I walk walking ahead of him going to the few restaurants across the street. When we get to the cross walk i felt a pair of eyes on my ass. I knew Chase was staring at it.
"Eyes off my ass Chaser" i say out loud. I look behind myself seeing him surprised and embarrassed i caught him. Then when we were able to walk he walked next to me instead of behind me.
"I wasn't" he says.
"Sure you weren't" i say sarcastically.
"Whatever" he says chuckling.
