Chapter 4: Meeting the client

Chaeryeong's P.O.V

Flashback

"Who do you think is the person under Captain's mask?" I ask to my companion while I was driving the wheels. Ever since we didn't have a chance to see who is under that mask. Me and Yuna are now heading at the District 4 to meet ryujin unnie's client. She should be meeting her client but then Captain wants to see her. I wonder what will happen.

"I don't know also. But Ryujin unnie is so lucky to meet with Captain. Among us 4, she's the first one to meet privately with Captain." The younger replied while mesmerizing the beauty of trees beside the road. The district 4 isn't that far. It just takes 45 minutes of travel from the hq.

"I miss Lia unnie." I heard Yuna releasing a sigh after she said those words.

"Nado."

After 45 minutes...

We stopped as we reach the big gate in the entrance of the district. Two men in soldier uniform approach us.

"What brings you here?" The man asked me after we rolled down the windows.

"We're just meeting a client."

"Show us your Ids." The other man who was facing Yuna spoke. We immediately show the cards to them. It was given by Jeongyeon unnie before they left. Tzuyu unnie made these because she said that the said district is a strict one. The guards return our ids and signaled someone at the top of the watchtower behind the gate to open the gate. I roll up the windows and proceed to our client.

"Turn to your left." She said as we are approaching an intersection. I followed her instruction.

"I feel something bad in here." My gut is telling me that something danger will happen anytime.

"Unnie stop." I stop immediately the vehicle and look at her.

"Wae?"

"Midzy's GPS says that the location of the client is here. When I also check the location, there was really a building here." Yuna was confusedly looking outside the window and back to her laptop. She calls it Midzy, her A.I friend. When we look outside, there was no building. Just an open space.

"Are you the assassins?" I was shock by the sudden question of a man who just popped out beside me that I aim the revolver to him. He raises immediately his hands in the air as he saw my gun pointing at him.

"Who are you?"

"Woah! Chill. Seems like you're the assassins. I'm the client you're looking for. Hwang Hyujin" He explained.

"How can we be sure about that?" I asked still pointing the gun to him.

"The location is there right? Wear these." He gave us two eyeglasses.

"What for?" I asked doubting on what he was doing.

"Just wear it." I still point the gun to him while we were putting on the glasses.

"Look to your right" We look at the open space but it wasn't there anymore. It was replaced by a building. We were shocked by the sudden change.

"Come inside." The man walks to the building. When I remove the glasses, the building disappears but as I wear it, it's just right there. The man gestured us to come in. Though we are doubting to enter but it looks like this man won't harm us.

"If you remove your glasses, you'll just see yourself walking in the open space. You better not remove them." These building is like a hotel. There's a front desk in front and two elevators beside it.

"Does anyone outside right now will see us?" Yuna ask. She's still observing the surroundings. The man gestured us to seat in a couch. On the center of it is a small table with a folders and photos.

"Nope. These building can't be seen by our bare eyes."

"Then why are you hiding it?"

"I was scared when I heard that the TNC did a mass killing in the neighbor district." Our ears perked up when we heard that name. TNC. Those wild dogs don't really stop.

"Why did you call Ryujin unnie by the way?"

"I just want her to kill this woman." He gave us some pictures and a folder. I share the details to Yuna.

"Her name is Hwang Yeji."

"Relatives?" Yuna took a glance to Hyujin.

"No."

"Why though?"

"I just want her to suffer the pain that she did to me." I could feel this man's anger when I saw he's clutching his fist.

"What a pretty girl." Yuna continuously look at the photos.

"Don't fall into her looks because I was once fall in to it also and here I am, suffering the pain." He slides in front of us an envelope.

"That's the payment. I want her dead. It's up to you on how will you do it just make sure she suffers first." Ryujin unnie is perfect on this mission. After the talk, we head back to the quarters.

"Do you think what I think?" Yuna spoked. She's typing something in her laptop.

"That ryujin unnie is perfect for this assassination? Oh yes. I already thought about that when that Hyujin said those words." I chuckled on the thought we won't be doing her mission and also this mission matches to her personality.

"You're right." We both laughed.

"But my blood boils a while ago when I heard that rascals again."

"Tsk. What would you expect to those hard headed swine?" We bought felt annoyance hearing about that group.

TNC is a group of 5 men. This group is led by Choi Yeonjun. His teammates are Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai. They are under the BH Corporation and led by Mr. Jung Hoseok. Captain leads and holds these 10 corporations of different districts. These corporations maintain the peace in districts. The BH Corporation was once part of it but then captain cut their ties when this TNC started to go wild. He even tried to bring back their sanity but it won't work anymore. Mr. Hoseok wasn't angry about that as if he just accepted the fact and expected that. Since then, they are the only group we heard about them. We stopped park the car inside the garage.

"Unnie, someone is here." Yuna stopped me from entering the house when she saw two pair of shoes.

"Yuna-ssi this one is Ryunjinie's." I pointed the brown leather she always wears.

"Midzy, the cameras." She commanded to her A.I after she detached the monitor from the keyboard. Yuna installed security cameras in every corner except in our rooms. "We need to sure that we aren't in danger." We look into the monitor but there's was nothing.

"Maybe Ryujinie is just sleeping in her room." I entered first the house and look at the surroundings. We went to Ryujin unnie's room to make sure she's already here. I knock the door.

"Ryujinie! Are you there?"

There's no answer.

"Ryujinie!"

"Ne! Come in." I heard her answer from the other side.

"Told ya. She's here." I opened the door and saw her on her bed. She seems nervous.

"Are you with someone?" I glared at her. I concentratedly look at her. Something's fishy in here.

"Anni." She shook her head.

"Then why is there another set of shoes outside?" Yuna asked.

"I just bought them a while ago." She stutters a bit when she said those words. That's enough.

"You must be hiding something. I could sense somebody is here." I look suspiciously at her room. When I was about to turn back. Someone scared us.

"Miss me?"

"Unnie!" We look to our side and immediately hug her. We miss you so much unnie.
