Another World [Barb x Reader]

Chapter 2

The troll kingdom was in chaos. Mostly caused by the rock trolls because of their queen's disappearance. Poppy was in a full-blown panic and there was nothing Branch could do. Delta Dawn and Trollzart were trying to calm her down and were failing.

"This is all my fault! If we didn't go separately Barb wouldn't be gone!" "It's not your fault. No one could have known that it'll happen." Delta Dawn said to Poppy.

"There is no way we'll let that happen again. Come on guys, we're getting our friends back!"

" And how are we going to do that? We don't exactly have a plan here." Branch stated. But that didn't shake her determination, because she said. " We're jumping after them."

"Delta and Trollzart, can you watch over the kingdom while we're away? I promise we won't take long, please?" "You can count on us!"

Branch and Poppy set off the Branch's bunker. " Ok Branch, can you try to find the pattern of the portals?" "On it!"

They went to where

"If my research is right then the next portal should appear in the middle of Pop Village!" A portal appeared. They both rushed to it before it closed and luckily the both made it. They both fell on a very hard surface.

"Ow... that's gonna hurt even more later."

"Where are we?" Poppy looked up.  She wasn't expecting what she saw. It was a giant.........

Cat. " AWWWW IT LOOKS SOO FLUFFY!!!" Poppy said as she moved toward the giant, extremely fluffy cat. But then the cat ran away from them, cause you know.....?

"Awww I wanted to pet it soooo badly!!!!" "Poppy now is not the time. So just pet it later."

And with that, they went to who knows where, but everything was big and different. Not like troll village, or the other Kingdoms. Poppy was behind Branch, who was scouting the area for anything bad that might want to harm them.

When the both of them reached the end of a dark alley, a bright ray of light came into their range of sight. When their eyes adjusted, they saw the cat Poppy tried to pet, but he was not alone. There were 5 more of them.

"Where are we?" Poppy said. She moved forward without hesitation. But before she could get any closer to them, the wall started moving. Branch grabbed her arm, and they both hid in a flower pot, that seemed to appear out of nowhere. All the cats started meowing as a figure emerged.

They were tall. Maybe even taller than the Bergens! Yet, they looked didn't look like Bergens. They wore a black and white camouflaged hoodie. Their short (h/c) perfectly framed their face, and their (e/c) eyes, shone abnormally bright, even for the trolls!

"Who's hungry?" The cats whined louder. The figure filled their bowls with food.

"Hey Branch, what if we talked to them? They might know where our friends are!" Poppy jumped out from the hiding place, leaving Branch no time to protest.

Poppy ran in front of them and said. "Uh, Hi! Down here? We need your help!" Branch rushed to grab her. But it was too late. "huh? what?" They looked behind them and found Poppy waving nervously with a crooked smile on her face. Branch was beside Poppy trying to grab hold of her hand.

They just stood there with a blank look. "Um... Hi?" They finally said something. Unsure of what to do next, Poppy spoke up. "Hiiiiii I'm Poppy and this is my friend, Branch. We were wondering if we could ask you some questions?"

School has been unforgiving(in my opinion) And it's making me forget stuff outside of school stuff. Hope you understand.
