I had a good time in class. It wasn't because I enjoyed my boring sensei lecturing some "important skills", but because I was with Sasuke. He helped me understand what my sensei was even going on about. I sure wish he was teaching me on his own. He'd give me useful information that I'd actually be able to use in life.
"Hey, it's that new girl!" A bratty voice pointed out.
There was another one, "Yeah, she was late."
I was starting to get angered by two stuck up girls who interrupted my thinking about class.
"She must think she's so special! Getting to be around Sasuke. What a tho-"
"That's enough from you two!" Sasuke ended the whining.
"Eh... hmm! Come on, let's go!" The two girls went off.
Sasuke approached and sat with me under the tree we agreed to meet at. I pulled my bento from my bag.
"Itadakimasu!" I began eating. "Sasuke, aren't you going to eat?"
"Uh, I'm good, thanks."
"Are you sure?"
"Uh, yeah."
"You don't have a lunch, do you?"
"Yeah. My brother slaughtered my parents and clan, so there's no one to really make meals for me nowadays."
"That's okay, I'll share mine!"
"I mean you really don't have to-" His declining was interrupted by me placing a slice of tamagoyaki in his mouth. He pouted and blushed, but accepted my food. "Wow, Miyuki-chan, that's pretty good!"
"Oh thanks, wait uh, Miyuki-chan?"
"Yeah, we're friends, aren't we?"
"Uh, yeah, of course!" I blushed along with him.
