Chapter 5: The Prince

 Agatha and Sophie were brought at the base camp of the group of men who captured them. They were put in a cage made of woods, their arms were tied and their mouths were sealed. Sophie and Agatha sat side by side, Agatha looked around, hoping to see something sharp.

" Is the prince awake? " they heard, The reddish-haired boy asked.

" Yes, he's eating his breakfast. " a man with an arrow said. " Who are they, Nathaniel? "

" We captured them, near the riverside. They said they're from the School of Good and Evil "

Fear spread to the man's face, " Is that true? "

" I don't know, only the prince will know if they're saying the truth." he said and walked inside the huge tent.

After a few minutes, Nathaniel walked towards the cage of Agatha and Sophie. He opened the cage, with two men standing beside him. He grabbed Agatha, the other man grabbed Sophie. Both girls tried to shrug them off, but they're not strong enough.

" Don't fight, We won't hurt you, if you do what we say." he said and his grip tightened.

They brought them inside the huge tent, a man was sitting in a large chair, while drinking a glass of wine, he stood up and face them. Agatha and Sophie was shocked, the man who seems to be the leader was just a young man, who seems to be on their same age, without a doubt, a handsome man, with dark hair, golden eyes, broad shoulder that seems to be strong.

" We brought them, Prince." Nathaniel said, bowing his head.

" Mmmmhh-mmmh " Agatha protested.

" Release them, they're just girls." the prince ordered.

They released them, Agatha and Sophie grasped to breathe.

Agatha looked at the prince, with piercing gaze, " We're not bad people! Why are you kidnapping us? " she shouted.

Nathaniel pointed his sword to Agatha, " How dare you raise your voice to our Prince! "

" Nathaniel, stop, put it down," he looked at her. " Then, who are you? And what are you doing here?"

Agatha tried to speak calmly, " I'm Agatha and she's Sophie, I don't know if you will believe us but we're from the other world. We were former students of School for Good and Evil, we are the Readers. We had the chance to go back home almost two years ago, but yesterday we were pulled her again in this world, that's why we are here."

Disbelief and shock was on their faces. The prince just looked at her.

" Prince, that's impossible, they're lying, we should locked them, maybe they are enemies sent by those evil sorcerers." Nathaniel said and grabbed Agatha.

" No! I'm telling the truth! " Agatha yelled.

" You can't fool us! "

" Stop! Let them, Nathaniel." the prince said.

Nathaniel let go of Agatha, then the prince thinks for a second. " I've heard about it, readers, from another world, the evil school master always takes two readers to attend the school, one is evil and one is good. You're one of them? "

Agatha nodded. " So please, let us go. We need to find our friends." she begged.

The prince examined her, he looked at her eyes, she's probably saying the truth.

" I'm sorry for what they did to the both of you, they're just being careful. "

Agatha and Sophie looked at each other and smiled. They were free, they sighed in relief.
