Chapter 9

Mina's POV

"That's all for today, please don't forget to do your task. Goodbye" Ms.Kang smiled and went out.

Finally classes are done, I can go home now and play with Ray. I grabbed my backpack and went outside only to found Dahyun leaning in the wall.

"Oh you're already here"

"Yeah"

"Um.. so when can we start the tutoring" I asked.

"Maybe tomorrow cause Ms.Shin already gave us an homework" she replied.

"Alright"

We arrived at the parking area as she unlocked her car. I opened the door and got in, soon she also entered but before driving, she played some songs which is in my suprise it was DAY6 songs.
She played 'You We're Beautiful', 'I Like You', 'Afraid' and many more.

"So you like DAY6 too?" she spoke.

"Huh?"

"You we're humming, so you're a fan?" she asked

"Yes since their debut, I always love their songs"

"Actually, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu recommended this boy group to me until slowly, I started getting used to it and become a fan until now"

"We're here" she spoke and stopped the car.

I went outside and went to the door but before I entered, I stopped and look at Dahyun.

"Thank you Kim Dahyun"

"Sure, bye Nerdie. See you again tomorrow" she smiled before she start her car and drove away.

"I'm home" I said out loud as soon as I entered the house.

"Arf arf" Ray runned to me as I gladly hugged him.

"I miss you little buddy" I said and he started licking my face.

"Mina, in the dining room" mom's voice was heard on the whole house.

I put Ray down and went to the kitchen and found them already eating. They're now eating but without me and it's just 6:30 p.m.

"Why are you guys eating so early, it's just 6:30 p.m" I said and sat beside Sana unnie.

"We thought you'll arrive late that's why we decided to eat first" Sana unnie replied.

"How's your day Mina" dad asked.

"It was good" I smiled.

"Good to know, how about Dahyun, is she nice to be with?"

"Um... yes, I mean of course, no...I mean it alright"

Dad look at me with a puzzled expression but then chuckled. "Ok then, good to hear"

After eating dinner, I insisted on washing the dishes and now I'm done with my night routine then here I'm, just at my study table, working with my assignment.

After a couple of editing and proffreading, I'm already done. I smiled in satisfaction and set it aside for tomorrow.

'What do I do now?' I thought to myself.

"Arf arf" Ray barked as he headed to the balcony.

"Great idea Ray, let's find some constellations" I carried him and we sat at the bench.

Soon after while looking at the stars, I suddenly remebered something when I was a kid.

|Flashback|

"Mom, can I go to that hill. I'm gonna find a penguin constellation!" I exclaimed.

"Sure just be back when I called you ok"

"Yes mom, come on Ray let's go"

Me and Ray runned towards the hill until we reached the top. Because of tiredness, I sat down at the ground and leaned by back at the big tree behind me.

"Ray look, that's like you" I pointed at the formation of stars above the wide dark sky.

While I was busy looking at the stars, I didn't even notice that Ray was not by my side anymore.

"Ray?" I stood up.

"Ray where are you?" I looked around until I heard giggles.

"Oh hello there, is this your dog" a girl, maybe around my age or younger smiled at while petting Ray's head.

"Hi, yes he's my dog and his name is Ray"

"Nice name"

"Thanks so are you here alone?" I askd and sat beside her.

"No, my parents are down there" she pointed at the people who was assembling a tent.

"Do you like stargazing?" she asked.

"Yeah"

"I guess we have the same something in common" we both giggled.

"Mina go down, we're going home now!" mom yelled.

"That's your mom right?

"Yeah"

"Well see you soon, here at this big tree tomorrow"

"Sure"

"Bye"

"Bye, come on Ray"

The stars we're the reason why we met, when I looked up in the sky and saw constellation of stars, I'll always think about her.
